How long should we make our payment. 15yrs? 3. Any advantage in making one time payment per year over monthly payment or are they same

It’s a good scheme, except that TDS is levied which you need to later claim in your ITR. If you fall in any of the tax slab, then it doesn’t make sense to deposit in it. Otherwise, it’s a very good scheme as long as the dividend is fixed at 10%.

@@rajeshpg99 the interest rate can change periodically... The usual change commence every quarter. So by the time thumbnail gets changed, the interest might have changed to a different one already 🤗

@@anishvarghese8169 Agreed. However, at the time of creating this video, the PPF interest rate is 7.10 % and not 8%? So giving the thumbnail as 8% is misleading. Thats what I meant. And, I didn't ask to change the thumbnail every quarter :)
