Fuelx will not give it more speed but it will clean up the choppiness of the bike and run smoother. If you want more speed then you want powertronic ecu and put it to race++ setting which is map #2.
Nice install video. I'm not familiar with the 2021 airbox but I'm assuming it's the same as the rest of the gen2's. You might want to check the air flow because I suspect you are running unfiltered air straight into the engine with that lid mod - inlet snorkel runs into the bottom of the airbox then up through the filter and past the airbox lid into the engine - be interesting to know if they changed the routing again - pre 17 it ran from the lid then through the filter.

I have a unit filter that attaches to that lid cover. It was only open in the video. Thank you!
The fuel x pro only works in closed loop, or also in open loop too
cool vid! just ordered lite one for my new ktm 390 adventure. I live in Istanbul (crowded city) and low revs at low gears are important to me. Right now it feels like bike wants to cough or something if you know what I mean. BTW I had installed a slip on last week, maybe it will help with that also, doesn't have complaints tho. I'm not really that deep into modding, so you think Fuelx Lite and KTM quickshifter will be enough for me?
@burnoutbobby
Жыл бұрын
For sure I think the fuelx lite will be perfect it will autotune and adjust on the fly. It will be a lot smoother with those choppy lower rpm.
Also can you remove the handlebar mount once you set the maps

Yes I’d go to map 9 and see how sit feels. If anything try map 10 and make the decision what feels cleaner for your setup.

You may feel a better throttle response and cleaner throttle response. For a physical power difference the powertronic ecu is the answer.

Hey mate. Thank you for the explanation. I have the same bike with an Full system Austin Racing exhaust de-cat. Do i need to remap the bike; Does Fuel X Pro do the job so i will not get an ECU; Thanks
@burnoutbobby
Жыл бұрын
The fuelx should fix be good for you. You will have to select through the maps and see what one feels best for you. I’d start at map 8. Or if you go with the fuelx lite that one autotunes it on the fly. So you. Don’t have to go through settings on what feels best. I’ve never personally tried the lite yet though.

I wanted to be able to control the fuel delivery. I wasn’t sure the accuracy of the autotune.
I have a two questions.first one is if you order a GT6 engine from Amazon is it a running engine or just the case? My second question is what do you think about the Ice Bear scooter
@burnoutbobby
2 жыл бұрын
I’m not sure I don’t trust the Amazon motors. I hear lots of horror stories. Ice bear are the ruck clone. Look similar but none of the parts match up if you ever want to put ruck parts on. The welds aren’t great on them and are known to crack on the frame. And then I hear the harness needs to get swapped out too the have some electrical problems. So it’s a tough call. Price point they are cheap but won’t be a easy build if you want to do a lot to it.

Awesome video sir. I own ktm adventure 390 . I am planning for Powertronics ecu with map set to 11000rpm + fuel x pro + Air filter + ngk spark plug (if necessary) + Resonator(black box) or chamber delete without removing catalytic converter + After market exhaust. Will it still damage engine. If yes will it be drastic or slowly it will effect the long life of engine. If it reduces 10k kms of life it is OK for me. If it's drastic on engine life please let me know. I need your guidance 🙏

Sorry for the delay. Dyno sheets have shown that you start to lose power after 9,800rpm so it’s not necessarily to rev to 11k. As long as the fuelx is delivering the correct amount of fuel you will be good.

The bottom line is, I've yet to see a single person on KZread or in real life that knows how the fuelx actually works. Everyone hears that it's great and they stick it on their bike without understanding it.
@burnoutbobby
Жыл бұрын
Well that’s an easy answer. Let me help you out. It plugs to your lambda sensor which reads your air to fuel ratio, it then adjusts how much more or less fuel is needed when riding. The fuelx will add or remove fuel from the injector since it does not run at 100% duty cycle from ktm. Hope that helps.
