The Next boot is designed from scratch, made out of rigid and long lasting glass-fiber reinforced plastic and combines all the advantages of TRINITY with the proven hard boot concept. The skates come with MyFit Recall Dual fit liners, guaranteeing a great fit straight out the box with the perfect amount of padding where it´s needed. The Next shell offers two buckels & lace holes to the top to ensure the best fit for perfect power transfer. The toe area got a brand new face lift with an exchangeable toe cap, enlarging the life span of your skates. They just came out with a mustard/mango. Never smashed an add to cart so fast in my life.

I'm curious about the wheel spacing I see with most 3 wheel skates. This model has huge 125mm wheels so they are forced to set them as close as possible but other models using 110mm, like the Next, choose to space them apart a little. Isn't a short wheelbase ideal or does it get too unstable at higher speeds? Why not use a frame with different holes so we can choose the wheelbase length? Is it a liability issue? I've always liked having a wheelbase wheel length about the same length as my size 12 men's boot. Maybe a little longer. But its really hard to get that in 100-110mm wheels. They always seem to space them apart. Rollerblade is really bad for this. Isn't it ironic that the greatest skating design improvement (3 wheels) comes just as the sport is waning? Hopefully there will be a resurgence. I cannot imagine a better way of exploring an urban area than with skates. They should be every traveler's companion as long as the concrete is in good condition which many poorer countries don't have unfortunately. But for most developed countries it truly is the ultimate traveling tool. Along with medical insurance and pads!

Also the good pavement is not that much important if you are skating on big wheels. Cobblestone, dirt, gravel.... Im skating everithing with my 3x110mm To talk about wheelbase. The shorter the frame the more maneuverable but the less stabel the skates will be. On its triskates rollerblade focuses on fitness skating while powerslide offers also many city skates (freeskates) which prefer shorter more manoverable frames. 243mm seems to be the standard for urban skates and 270 for fitness skates.
So were these a limited run in white? I can't find them anywhere.

the pro version comes in a dark color way and is equipped with 125mm 88A UC wheels, made in the USA, probably the best freeskate / urban skate wheels on the planet. The basic version here comes in a white color way and is equipped with 125mm 86A Powerslide Infinity wheels.

125mm wheels on a responsive and well designed hardboot + frame, yes, they can be skated very fast. it only comes down now to personal skills, too.
