Powerlifting History - The Battle of Killeen - Haack vs Gibbs vs Hubbard
Bit of a different style of video today, let me know what you think.
I thought it might be cool to breakdown one of the most exciting events in powerlifting history into a small 10 minute video with a custom scoreboard and commentary.
I picked this event because its what made me fall in love with powerlifting. I always kind of thought the competitions were a bit boring but watching this was like watching England in a penalty shootout and I was hooked after this.

Powerlifting needs more like this. Im so tired of the "its me vs me" mentality. There is nothing wrong with good competition which needs to be hyped up more

Not much people can compete each other, even if they're in the same age and bw.
Haack with great attempt selections here, Hubbard with his heart on his sleeve, and Gibbs making everyone pucker with that final attempt, lol. Well put together video.
Man Haack vs Gibbs was the war that got me into powerlifting as a fan and eventually led to me competing. Loved this.
The quality of this video is insane for someone with 3k subs, the graphics at the bottom combined with the music and commentary is fantastic. I feel lucky to be one of 5000 viewers to get recommended this vid.

damn, gibbs was the strongest guy on the day but didnt execute
this was perfect havent seen any of your others but this was perfect
Look at where we are now just ~5 years later. Atwood with a higher total in the 74kg class (not at worlds) and Haack with +200 kg total now on gear. Funny how his squat is now his weakest lift and his bench is mindblowing on gear.

Why does Hubbard have to be so "extra" on his set ups? Even the way he grabbed the bar before squatting was very flamboyant
