I have used a dab of soapy water on my tire beads to help them take the bead more consistently. Think I’m going to order some Flubbers….🤘

Cannot wait to get my Pro build started. Fusion Pro, Raw 500, Micro 59 will fill the inside. Still torn over tires as the Proline Baja Pro X in G8 or Predator, the SuperSwampers or some Jconcepts seem to all be good choices. I put some superswampers on my SCX6 yesterday and they outclimbed my Hyrax tires! Happy to be a member now and truly appreciate the extra content.

Just might have to give some PowerHobby wheels a try. Most of my current ones are Vanquish. As for the inserts, will have to order some. Currently, I run CI (2-stage) & 3BRC (w/ rods mostly in the rear tires), but I'd REALLY be interested in seeing how the 3BRC inserts compare to these. Also, how different combinations (3BRC all-around, Flubbers all-around, 3BRC front/Flubber rear, & Flubber front/3BRC rear) compare to each other...especially Flubbers up front, and 3BRC filled with rods.

Is there any reason behind venting the tire itself rather than the wheel? Cool insert concept. May have to give them a try!

so I was wondering if the trx4 is 1/10th scale then why are the axles on the axial RBX10 ryft so much larger then those on the trx4? the axial claims to be 1/10th scale as well

So I’ve been wanting to buy some of inserts for my Trx4 and my question is will they work in cold or freezing temperatures? It gets a little bit chilly up here in Maine!👍👍😁😎✌️

Yes they do work in extreme temps. But before I say yeah go buy them, see if any local guys use them and get their opinion first. I’m in Florida. All we really have is heat and humidity.

Yeah they are rebrands of a rebrand of something made by who knows who at this point. I do like seeing the different finishes one brand puts on them. These are really shiny and I like that. 😀

I decided to try something a little different in regards to wheel weights. If you want to waste 20 seconds, I posted a video of the weights in “action”. For reference, the weight is 4 ounces. kzread.info/dash/bejne/Y2mHmKWbgsWqprw.html

Ok as someone who love science I so don’t understand the venting when paired to tire pressure. If you put a tire on it’s at whatever atmospheric pressure your elevation is and yes if you go from sea level to 10000 feet yes your tire will expand but you have no pressure at your sea level. Unless you pump your tire up you have no tire pressure to make the foams not work. For bashing yes venting can help for expansion but for crawling really it’s just to drain water or for those guys who do crazy elevation changes. Science

Simple experiment for those who don’t believe me. Take a none vented tire and put it together with no foam and see how well the tire pressure keeps it up once on your truck. It’ll look flat

Easy trick for getting actual pressure is to freeze the tires and rims first, I also would like to try dropping a piece of dry ice in one to see.

You’re missing the whole temperature thing… if I’m assembling in a 70 degree room and go drive in 90degrees air expands. If I assemble in an 80 degree room and go drive in 40 degrees the air contracts. It’s science.

Most of the after market foams and no foams require the tire to be vented to get the optimal performance out of the tire and foam/no foam combo.
