    Another young verbose Obama who did nothing to lift his people out of poverty. "Ye shall know them by their fruits." At least it wasn't just another rant about blaming whites for all Africa's problems.

    I was watching cartoons with some youngsters. The bad guy wanted to rule the world, as bad guys often do in cartoons. One of the children turned around and asked me, why did that person want to rule the world? What would one do with an entire world? That child expected an answer. And I realized this ridiculousness of trying to own a world. Could you see all of it? Live in all of it? How many shoes do you need? How much food can you eat? I had never questioned another's desire to own the world. It was a construct I never questioned nor experienced. But that child showed me how ridiculous it all was. That child's question gave me hope.

    I do not like this. Kids are kid and not politicians. We gave them responsibility out of their competences. If part of humanity reached this point is just because of their governments, not because humans are beasts. And those governments do not care the voice of kids. We have a clear example in these days in Gaza.

    Precisely the kind of tribal, nonsensical narrowmindedness that's created the ugly world we currently inhabit. So, what does it matter if he's Nigerian, Algerian or even Indian? Why should it? It's his words and content of his character that matter.

    @@scatmann5839It matters that he is Nigerian because he is talking about the issues affecting Nigerian children and challenging those in power that talk is cheap. Children in other parts of the world may face similar issues, but here, the Nigerian context is being addressed. Why do you find it so difficult to give kudos to a Nigerian child? Just saying!

    European here. I did hear the eloquent words of this child. But I wonder why you care specifically for "all of Europe and America" to hear this speech. I know that Europe and America have significant influence in the world. But Europe and America cannot solve all problems. This child talks about burning schools and murdered parents. These crimes are commited by Nigerians, Islamists who murder their fellow citizens due to religious hatred. The West has waged many wars, many of the injust (if there can be something like a "just war"at all). But today´s wars are triggered by Russia (Ukraine), Islamists (Yemen, Syria ...), ruthless local dictators (Myanmar, Syria again ...). People are opressed by their own regimes (Iran, North Korea, Eritrea ...). Africa in particular is suffering heavily of rampant corruption, nepotism, bad governance, and ethnic conflicts. Only Africans themselves can solve this.

  • @electricAB

    @electricAB

    @topher2seattle As a fellow Westerner, I think perhaps you could look a little deeper into how it is that leaders throughout the world have been selected, funded and promoted by the US & Europe. Colonies were no longer needed once the techniques of regime change were developed and the oppressed peoples of many countries now rebelled against their own corrupt leaders instead of ours. A simple search, and a willingness to look, will show that this is not the stuff of conspiracy theories, it is the stuff of declassified agency documents - which are likely the tip of the iceberg. I wish you all the best.

    Was it a speech or reading what someone older wrote? I'm a hard nose who has observed useless speeches, this is another one, the difference is, it's read by a child. I'm happy that he can read very well, but he is regurgitating information that many have already spoken and failed in life like Malcolm X. I am concerned that this young man may grow up thinking that education will change the situation of Africa and Africans. Many are the highly educated who are running Africa into the ground. God punished Africa/Israel for turning her back on him and ONLY HE can change our situation and He will. The plan is in the works at this moment by our God and the ONLY hope for Africa. Africa will go from the bottom to the top of all that is great because of I AM. Conflicts In Africa will end because of judgment executed by I AM on the wicked, not because the wicked got educated. Africa needs leaders who trust I AM/God not more educated dummies who make nice speeches and produce nothing but the praise and administration of men. Shalom!

    @kingDavidDAnointed1 Exactly. He sounds like the latest iteration of Greta. Yet another planted “leader” so that the people sit on their hands doing nothing looking to another savior, while their entire reality is burnt down by the same people who put these operatives into place. The world will change with inspired proactive action and peaceful noncompliance, not nice words that just parrot all the accepted narratives.

    A great speech that must be echoed across Africa. However, we must be careful using the word “power” in some context. A leader exercises leadership, and a ruler exercises power. Afrika must demand leadership from its leaders. We elect then to lead, not to have power. Power must be in the rule of law and ethical conduct.

    Wow. "Out of the mouths of babes", what an amazing job. It made my heart feel so bad because a child has to raise the consciousness of adults. Across the world every nation needs ti have someone read and broadcast that speech over every television or airway. No child should have ti carry such a burden. The adultsl of this entire world should be so ashamed 😢 Hod the Creator is not pleased with any of us. Mercy for all of the children of the world.

    I wonder how any leader can look this kid in the eye and tell him he does not deserve free education. Hope this clarion call to those in power will wake them up to their responsibilities. Children do not have to become activists in order to be heard. What they need is nurturing and mentoring to be the best they can be.
