Namaskaram It's a marvellous job to provide these mantra with meaning, else one has to hunt for the meaning on Google and still get silly translation. For instance "आत्मन् निहितं गुहायाम्....." was translated by Google as "The cave of soul " 😅😅😄 Anyways thanks to the Ghanapatigals

Excellent rendition. 🙏 The Pancha Rudram has some slokas from Sri Rudram and I have observed that words are pronounced and also written differently when compared with Sri Rudram rendition. Pancha Rudra is in Rigveda. Is it influencing it?

Namaskaram, The Rudram present in the Rig Veda is popularly known as Pancha Rudram. Yes, there are many common mantras between the Pancha Rudram from Rig Veda and the Sri Rudram from Krishna Yajur Veda, albeit with certain differences. The chanting rules and intonations of Rig Veda and Krishna Yajur Veda are different, so it has to be chanted according to the rules of that particular Veda.

Why perform Yajnas? Yajnas are duties to be performed by humans.Yajnas are the power power providers to Devatas. A human body is energised by food.But a devata in heaven has a different body. He may eat human food for pleasure but cannot survive on that. Humankind will starve and thirst if Devatas(like Indra and Varuna) won't bless us with rain and good weather. So Naras and Suras are dependent of each other. Soma rasa is the food of heavenly beings.Human Brahmanas doing Soma yajna energises heavenly beings. Little Soma juice extracted by them gets multiplied millions of times.

Person belonging to one veda can learn another veda for knowledge and contention, but he shouldn't practice it for earning sambavanai or dhakshanai. That's the rule.
