    We need to learn to be self-aware of four things: (1) Bodily sensations; (2) Feelings that sensations create; (3) Emotions that evoke feelings; and (4) Perception of the environment. Such awareness will enable us to choose the more appropriate response to the situation. Thank you, Swamiji, for teaching us about the importance of the witness consciousness or Sakshi Bhaav.

    Instead of mulling over why and how my mind could generate a bad thought , just watch it from distance. Hopefully overtime negative thoughts generation frequency would reduce.
