Would you buy these over the original ones?

Have you tried charging other brands of NP batteries with the charger? Also, how accurate is the charge indicator on the charger? Thanks for the video!

Hi Glenn. I have tried other third party non branded NPF and it works too charging them. How accurate? Well it’s a few bars to display the entire range. It’s only a fairly rough indications. The bigger the battery capacity the less accurate to gauge the actual level.

Hello and thank you for review. Just received my charger and similar batteries. Already charging for 3 hours and (both same time) and only two lines blinking. Will leave for overnight and update tomorrow

It does take some time to charge these 2 large batteries. Did it fully charge at the end?

how do you know when the battery is charged? plug it in and the battery display just blinks?

There are 2 little battery indicator on the display that shows the status, when they stop blinking and shows a filled battery symbol. That's when it's full.

The fact that you can buy this * 4 times* on amazon for the sony battery makes me wonder if anybody is buying those original ones haha Great vid btw :) Just bought ones myself

ZatorSky hey thanks for checking out my video. Maybe the original ones will last 4 times as long but flip side. Can always buy another couple more set for the price. I’ve been running mine for lights and monitor. Still running strongly. 😃

I use a Anker 5-port 60w charger. You can use any charger. It’ll just take the amount it needs. It’ll be limited by the charger itself. Even if you power it with 30w but it will just take 5 or 10w or whatever it’s able to support. If that makes sense.

With devices that support quick charge or newer PD standard possible but not with this NPF charger. It’s only rated for the standard USB power around 2.4A. It won’t go much quicker no matter how powerful the adapter is. It’ll just limit it to this units supported power range and draw no more than that.

Hi. I haven’t fully tested it yet but I might make a video about the SWIT monitor in the future. But my rough guess is around 3-5hours from memory.

I love these for my LED lights and Atomos Ninja V. They're heavy but last a couple hours

hey a solution is that you can use a NP-F mount plate and convert it into 12volt output, then carry it in your pocket or backpack, and then use a extension cable and the original battery eliminator to power your Ninja V

Hi, it depends what the device is? Eg. with my LED light, if it's on low power vs higher, the time it runs can vary significantly from 1-2h to 5-6h. Or did you mean, the battery life of the product for its entire life in terms of number of charge cycles?

Hi. From the charger? Shouldn't be too difficult. Just line up the 2 pins and slide the battery in/out. There shouldn't be any catch or release.

Hopefully it will be easier to use after a few more times? Maybe there's a slight manufacturing tolerance issue. Otherwise it shouldn't be too difficult to plug and unplug. 😅

Don't quote me entirely, but I think your camera uses the same NP-F battery like these ones.

Hi, with a standard 2.4Amp charge for a single battery. It takes around 4-5 hours to fully charge the 8800mAh battery. If charging two at the same time, it will take longer. Double the time roughly.

Hi, I don't own a Ninja V so I can't test. But given that it takes NPF batteries, I don't see why not. I've ran these batteries with my SWIT monitor and various lights that take NPF and they all ran fine without issue.

How do you charge them? I plugged them in and I can't tell if anything is happening. There's no charger indicator

The little display should light up and the battery icon should start building up to indicate it's charging. The moment you plug into USB power, the display should come on even without battery attached.

For me, it’s still working fine. But it depends how often you use it - the number of cycles it goes through from draining it and recharging it.

Yeah. I’ve been using them frequently since getting them and posting this video. It is possible there might be variations in quality on these budget batteries though. That’s my theory.
