Powered by Dewalt!! 12 Volt Kids Power Wheels Upgrade!

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

New battery and more performance? The battery died on the Peg Perego RZR so I bought this adapter from Amazon to get us moving again! The Dewalt 20 volt batteries brought new life to the kids ride!

That's awesome. Imagine a quick battery switch and then keep rolling. Totally cool.

It may sound weird but you should be able to “recharge” a led acid battery. You would need to replace the acid in it.

It would be doable if it wasn't a sealed battery. Thanks for stopping in!

I did this last year, ended up burning out the electric motors from running too much voltage through them.

Rut roh. I wonder if it's from running up hills etc when that happens

I tried something very similar to this the problem you're going to run into is the battery draining way past its recommendation it'll drain the battery too low to be recognized on the charger or at least that's what I ran into

Yep, that's why I made the mention about low voltage shut off protection. Either you need to watch the battery level or add another layer of protection to the battery. Thanks for stopping in

@@k6outdoors I seen that you mentioned it in the video I just wanted to make sure everyone understood with nothing protecting the battery it's a good way to kill batteries 🫡✌️

You can always “jump” the battery if it’s drained too far. Connect the + and - terminals of your dead battery to a charged one. It’ll jump it so the charger will recognize it.
