It's a shame they did not think more about the character before determining the skills. Soundwave should have Hot Rods skills, or at least a sonar equivalent, granted he'd need to be Gernan or Russian if that was the case. If anything HotRod should have had some sort of YOLO skill given his recklessness. I think if your playing these commanders it's more for the voice overs than anything.

Rumble is a good inspiration for range build destroyer captains

I have one Recommendation, Grimlock if you just want to have fun with French Bbs, his voice lines are honestly the best in the game & amusingly very funny

Tiger 59!? Hotrod is great for radar builds on British ships PERIOD. Radar Mino is especially great since the radar lasts for 44 seconds when maxed out. Add concealment, and you have a stealth radar ship that will catch destroyers with their pants down.

Soundwave has a spot on Napoli but it is absolutely not worth the bundle price for a commander to use on a single ship at a tier where the game economy is not meant to be sustainable.

I don't like the fact there is no option to get each commander with there ship and cammo in a stand alone package . The Warhammer content is way better, Arthas is amazing with Ragnarok. The drop rate in the crates is disgustingly sad. I plan on skipping this. I don't want to waste my $ on the commanders and cammo I don't want. I have no desire to get the crates because of the low drop rates. Thank you for breaking this all down.

Tommy, Flandre secondaries deal a butt load of damage, the small ones eat DDs and light cruisers alive, and the big ones pen bbs my guy.

The 100mm guns she's peppered in have 16-17mm HE pen my guy. The only thing flandre secondaries excel at are accurate shots impressive rate of fire and fire setting abilities. The raw damage is actually very low

The thing is IMHO is that most not all not all but most,do not research the commander traits before buying, it's just Oohhh colourful and new to me. Cha ching lol

Hot rod ABSOLUTELY is worth it, you can build into radar and AA for ships like edi, Plymouth, Minotaur, Neptune and make it so you can stealth radar and deal with planes extremely effectively. I run it on my mino and basically counter both DDs and carriers, which is especially important as of this update. Prime is better than Lee for brawlers, while there isn’t a massive amount of them in the game it is still a much better base trait that can also be used on other ships especially those with longer heals or many. Grimlock is one of the best French bb commanders and only really behind AL dunk but can be useful for a more damage focus build if you want to trade the 1s ammo change. Bumblebee is a pass since he’s pretty bad. Megatron is as you said only really useful for his trait which isnt that great anyway. Soundwave is another pass, similar to bumblebee in that there’s better options. Rumble is arguably better than splendito due to the the long range playstyle of Russian DDs but it does conflict with trubetsky and his fire setting capability. Starscream is just a better cv commander to the base one, especially now with the speed increases. You’re capable of going at ridiculous speeds and almost bypassing AA because you fly through it so fast. So overall, I agree some aren’t worth it but most are either direct upgrades or an interesting sidegrade to base or other collab commanders. While the price is high which isn’t great I don’t think the label of them all being passable is truly justified. People can spend their money how they like and it’s hard to say if it’s worth it for each individual player but some are definitely still worth it. However, locking all the commanders in a bundle instead of buying them individually is a pretty scummy thing for WG to do and it really shouldn’t be that way.

New Azur lane waves drop every year around summer and they're always the strongest commanders in the game.

if youhad to choose between the otobots bundle and the arthus the cold bundle which one would you choose and which commander would you choose for a survivability accuracy and brawling build for ohio

Hey man. I think you wildly downplayed the sick tunes that come with Optimus Prime. I dont personally have him, but B2 streams + Ohio with Prime are by far the catchiest stream clips lol.

I really want to buy stuff from this pack so bad but I just can’t since the packs are kinda expensive and I’m patiently waiting for Azur lane to come back. Gotta get Littorio, Hood, Baltimore and Belfast or what’s the point of this game. In any case, glad I didn’t spend the money if these aren’t even good. Maybe I would if they had the actual VAs from transformers

I agree 100 percent tommy . Azur lane and Halloween commanders arw better. The skins are okay but with the cv rework the meta changed . The current state of the game isnt fun like it used to be..i still get focused by cvs non stop in evwey match

I wish I could get Starscream and/or Rumble by themselves. Soundwave and Megatron I could do without.

Personal preference, but I like Rumble over Sergio for Khaba.

I was only interested in Starscream but he's locked behind a bundle like the rest. I think they did this to stop people of mass purchasing a specific item for a specific thing like what I was going for. What a shame...they would had made more money by people like me just purchasing that one particular item...what a shame...oh well such is life.

The only reason why I started playing WoWSL was the Azur Lane collab. Zero regrets. Absolutely the strongest P2W commanders in the game. And I get the wonderful added benefit of listening to some of my favorite Japanese voice actors piss off Blue team, which feels almost as good as getting a W.

The voices don’t sound like the actual characters which is really disappointing, especially Optimus Prime

I only have Megatron on my FdG with a full secondary brawler build because fully max he could fire his guns under 20 seconds over 18km range thanks to his base trait. I only wanted Starscream😢

Only TRANSFORMER value is the nostalgia and the voiceovers… plus unique music I would welcome a third collaboration, but all the current commanders deserve a rework due to the CV “upgrade”

Please stop putting the "Replay" in the centre of the screen where it obstructs the abilities information. Do we REALLY need to see a replay during your commander reviews??? Surely your viewers have at least a little bit of attention abilities?
