One thing that I just realised. Why is that room locked until you have a star if Bowser thinks that room is empty. Unless Bowser used the same magic as Peach, he shouldn't have locked that room for any reason other than to waste 5 seconds of Mario's time.

If the game had six main chapters / an orange streamer and Stapler was its chapter boss, I’d think Origami Peach would’ve been a perfect penultimate boss right before King Olly. Especially as in the beginning she was kind of hinted to have a much bigger role she actually has

In my opinion, this is one of your most fascinating remixes. Even without any context of the story, you can immediately infer a lot from the desperate percussion, minor key, organs, and twisting the familiar World Revolving jester silliness into an emotion thats both regal and somber. If Jevil is delusional yet so jolly, then whoever Peach has become, she is not a very sane or friendly one. Bravo.

I'm imagining a Peach boss fight in _B3313_ set to this tune. I think it's got just the right vibes for it. Wonderful composition, with special praise to the ominous spin added to the familiar SM64 riffs!

Out of the references in the music, I was especially surprised to hear the "Staff Roll" leitmotif used for this, as that has always been perhaps one of the saddest credits themes for me and still is. Brilliant work with this one!

I like the little touch that the beginning is based on the minor key Peach's Castle theme that shows up in NSMBU.

I absolutely adore the use of Inside the Castle Walls and the Credits Theme with their shift in pitch. Gives me the mental image of a very reluctant fight, one that has to end with one side defeated but wishing that the outcome could be different

following up my previous comment on the "PLAYING MY GAME" vid. this would go perfectly in a SM64 mod where you fight peach, unlike mario's song where it sounded like he was the final road block from achieving your goal. peach's song has this desperate sort of vibe to it, you can hear the distress from this damsel through her song. she's not confident in her abilities but she still holds ground and tries to prevent you from going further. as mushroom's kingdom royal princess, it's her responsibility to prevent chaos from running amok. like always, 10/10 song! can't wait for more.

Part of me really wants to run a Mario themed TTRPG where Peach is a boss fight and has this music but I legitimately can't think of a reason for that to happen; even if it were, like, a campaign where you play as Bowser's forces, Peach isn't malicious enough to warrant a song like this... BUT IT'S SO GOOD!!! Maybe if it were a possessed Peach? Or a fake one?

Years of being shuffled through all those castles to keep Mario guessing sure must be mentally taxing for all parties involved.
