Loving these. Keep it up guys. I think having a student do these really helps with the lesson as it shows us what we all typically do and how to correct for common mistakes. You guys already have the technique and muscle memory, seeing what newer pilots do wrong and how to correct is as valuable as the lesson itself.

Agreed! I'm sending my contact info - gladly signing up to be the student! :-) All joking (a little) aside - I totally agree, this "student" format is great! ...though I understand some maneuvers may not be as easily picked up in one lesson so, may be a frustrating exercise for a short video / for your viewers. May be best to keep the "expert" on those maneuvers so we can see how it's supposed to be done.

I really like how you guys explain these guys to new / semi-experienced fliers instead of just having a pro explaining everything to us while they fly. This is so amazing because it gives a glimpse as if we were there asking the questions with you and the tips that you give him when he does things wrong are really great and will help us in our own situations. Thank you for such an amazingly well put together video.

This instruction video with a real student is awesome and really helpful. That's the best flying tutorial I've ever found so far! It's incredibly easy to identify with the student through his attempts, crashes and successes, we get to see what has to be done, along with the tricks/tips and the errors to avoid. I'm in my bed but I actually feel like I've been flying, practicing and learning. Please do more like that, that's invaluable for the beginners like me in FPV.

On those early tree and tower loops that they did - anyone else thumbs twitch to instinctively pullup ? GREAT video - i loved that you had a trainee making mistakes. I am a "teacher of teachers" in a primary school, I spend a lot of time and effort explaining to other teachers that they often need to stop and slow down to explain things they automatically do without thinking. If you just have an expert explaining - they will often miss the points that they themselves now automatically do - yet struggled with when they were learning. Using this coaching senario makes for a WAY better video - because it allows kevin to remember all the things he now instinctually does and explain them

Okay, big points to Tommy for loaning his baby. Speaks volumes for the TEAM. I've flown quads 6 months now, maybe 200 Pax. Power loops (inside loops) are what I'm working on. I do start out way to high and twice became a lawn dart. *The only tall building we have near buy is the local jail*. I hate to get so close to it but I can see the benefits of having a positive reference point. Thanks a bunch for the video guys. Wish me luck.

What you didn't see in the video is that there was a huge family with a photographer standing to the side to take sunset pictures at the tower and waiting for us to finish. i like this format better, simply because i feel like when you are explaining it to someone who is learning, they are teaching you at the same time. They are teaching what mistakes people are making when they try to do the tricks, and you are able to address the mistakes on the spot. When you are just explaining the trick into the camera, you don't know if the instruction is making sense. It's good for people to see mistakes, as well as proper execution. You guys are killing it, keep it up!

@Rotor Riot Guys thanks very much for these! As a newbie coming in I really enjoyed watching Kevin teach Kevin, it was extremly informative. It was good to see Kevin [student] make mistakes, and common mistakes that I would make, then Kevin [teacher] explain why that is happening and how to remedy it. So thanks again, and I would love to see more of these in the future. Cheers!
