Monet doing all that “character development” and thinking on what and how she went wrong with her kids, yet still finding a way to blame to Tariq for everything she did to her family just proves she hasn’t grown at all. She only changed how she acted and started “caring” once she got a conversation that changed her perspective. But she literally undoes all of that by blaming Tariq for her family falling apart. I don’t necessarily blame her though because she still thinks Tariq shot her. Diana kept trying to say someone else messed up the plan but Monet wouldn’t hear it. Cane and Tariq might be at each others necks this episode and it could set the tone for the series finale. I know yall remember how hot Cane was when he first thought Tariq did it😂

Everyone sees Cane as a jealous guy, he was raised as a muscle his whole life naturally he believes he should be the next in line to take over. But when Lorenzo wanted to pass the torch down to Dru, it was always going to create some sort of conflict between the brothers. Cane feels as if it’s his destiny to take over. Dru feels as if it’s his, yet is extremely conflicted. What he told monet in the motel seems like he wants out, but in E3 he wanted Obis position. Another thing Cane mentioned is that he doesn’t have a way out, while Dru & Diana do. Even Zeke had a way out and he was not in the game. He’s the big bro so Lorenzo lying to him only made things worse. It only got worse after Tariq came by with Monet treating him in the way he wanted. Not only that, but Tariq has a mother who wants to keep him safe and away from the drug game after realising the damage it causes. Monet wants him as a solider & personal killer and he doesn’t have a normal mother.I think that’s another reason as to why Cane as Moviebot said decides to drift more closer to those who give him a sense of belonging. Deep down he hates the game and he’s broken because he hasn’t been raised normally. In addition to not being raised normally, just before Cane killed Ramirez he was flexing the fact that Monet needed him and that if he killed cane she wouldn’t care as he was seen as a liability at the time. We saw what lengths Monet went to avenge both Zeke & Dru but she was willing to let a random cop like Ramirez kill her son who is willing to do anything in the world for her. Cane is broken deep down and I do believe he will go against Monet’s orders and kill Dru at some point in S4 because Cane may be a reckless fuck up at times but he has never done anything that severe to be treated the way he was treated in season 1. Dru literally tried to take Monet’s life and she’s willing to let him live, it won’t sit well with Cane.

When it comes to the passage of time in the Power Universe, it can be pretty confusing. Maybe depending on how far along she is, she can count back and came to the conclusion that Tariq’s the father. Nobody really knows how much time passed between her sleeping with Salim and then Tariq. Maybe her and Salim used protection but the last time her and Tariq slept together, they didn’t because it was a “in the moment” type of thing.

The hallucinations represents Tariq “being” his father vs the latest version of Self where he has this new operation and preparing to take out those in front of him.

I like the new cop Carter. I would've been annoyed if we kept getting the same old kind of law enforcement. I suspect that this man is a type of drug lord. I think he's more than just a paid police hookup.

I hate to say it but that interaction with Salim & now this trailer is Tariq's first step to displaying the same arrogance that got Ghost killed

Hopefully Tariq starts to call himself ghost after ep 5. He told Tommy end of season one maybe one day he’ll be worthy of his name so we’ll see how it plays out with this new identity.
