I manage a project in US based company . I was planning to use tableau in my project , the cost is very high , also licenses are sold yearly basis , even after multiple queries, no intention from tableau to sell licenses . Then i got to know about alternative power bi , that licensing is done in few minutes , you have to reach Ms office administrator for the company thats all . Licenses were monthly .

Hi @PavanLalwani, We can also add the additional benefits that come with Power BI which are integration with external tools like Tabular Editor or Visual Studio, the possibility to update programmatically all properties update using C# scripts, having a Semantic Model layer, Viewer License a big issue with Tableau whereas unlimited license with Power BI as I understand if you buy premium license. Let us not forget the RLS features and Analyze in Excel options available in Power BI, which can bring self-exploratory power to end users.

In the end...its all about excel sheet, those org have extra money invested on view level of sheet .. through they can get knowledge by watching excel or ppt😊

It's 2023 and Excel only holds 1,048,576 rows my man. My record counts go beyond that regularly. Power BI and Tableau are much better with large data sets.
