Power Automate: Working with Nulls and Empty Lists in SharePoint
In this video follow Jonathon as he builds a flow with Microsoft Power Automate with a manual trigger that adds an item on a SharePoint. It is a pretty simple concept, but as it develops into more complex situations, you will see that understanding how to check for null values and a blank list are common problems that all flow designers encounter as some time. Thank you so much for this information. How can I make that Power Automate checks that the value has a column that is not empty? I am working with SharePoint Lists.
Thank you for this lesson. If I need to duplicate records with null values (ie, make a second copy of a record into another data source), how do I adjust my Flow in order to pass null for a field like Address or Phone where the null exists inside an object? (eg, some records have both City and State and some just have City OR some records have Home and Mobile for phone and others just have Home?)
Good topic, good explanation! I spent a huge amount of time trying to find how filter query (by ODATA in the 'get items' step) date in null condition. For instance, if in your example I want to filter (in the first step) and get only the items of SP where one of the dates is null.. any clue? tks
could you create a video to show. forms response get captured to teams, but delete empty columns
