I’m in the same boat as you! My son is getting into skateboarding and I am picking it back up after 20+ years. Also started surfing. Love the stoke 🤙🏻

I had one back in 89 to 91 when I was 5-7 and then when I was older riding a popsicle I was never that good at tricks and missed cruising the old school shape, now that I'm 39 Im glad to see the old school shapes have made a comeback. I just got a Winkowski dope planet and probably gonna get a Roskopp face deck next. I love these old school shapes reissued with a nose and concave. I get the 80s look and style I love and miss but also some modern familiarity.

I had the same one in my teens. Skated from age 13 - 23. Picked it again at 48 after I took my 15 year old son to the skate park . The last few months ahe been a blast. Be careful I made one wrong move and ended up braking my ankle. I look at it this way it is the only broken bone I have ever had. A few months left for recovery and I will be back at it again. I think I am going to get the Yellow one with some Indys, not sure about the wheels. I will use it as a cruzer board so tale bone is a must. Excellent video.

Nice! It’s been my toughest board to get used to. I think we have been spoiled. I know what you mean about the ankle. I haven’t broken anything yet, but I’ve had some painful falls. My hip hurt for weeks after a nasty fall, and my shoulder hurt for months after I fell on it. The yellow one would look cool!

This is awesome. I had a powell peralta geegah skull and sword back in 5th grade in the 80’s. Now my youngest turned 16 and found an interest in skateboards. She recently built one from tactics. Now I’m planning to build one to ride with her. I’ll be 44 in April 😅. Great video.

At first I wanted to check out the Cab set up. Then I saw WBC and Christian books at the shelf. :) Wow..pastor and skater(Oldschool)..just like me! I had to leave a comment just to say Hi~ I am 48 years old Pastor and Skater from Korea. Got back to skating last year..after 30 years of not skating. I just got a pink Cab and can't wait to set it up. But I still have to ride my Mike V couple more weeks..:) Trying to live a Missional life outside the religion boundaries..As a Pastor and a skater and a crossfitter(I own a CrossFit gym and working as a full time coach). Hope Skating could be a good channel to pass out the Gospel. Anyway God bless you!

i normally use clear plastic bag and trace around the top graphic, cut it out and transfer to the griptape.and that cutout griptape, use it to outline on a clear griptape.
