First of all, you don’t have to remember any algorithm on the 2 × 2 and also you can scramble the cube all by yourself and then solve it even if you are beginner! Therefore the answer is a *2 × 2* .

Hahaha, yes! It’s called parity because a part of the cube does not align with the cube! Part stand for cube’s part, and ity stands for misalignment! Merging them together creates the word *parity* !
