I cannot begin to explain how he absolutely encompasses my WoW experience as a kid. I legit think those shoulder pads were the same ones I found and I remember being so pumped about it. The whole going to try out your weapon on mobs to see the damage difference had me dying. Did that every single time lol. Man do I miss it.

Its like your first cloak, you found a raggedy small pointy one, so you search until you find a colored medium sized one and log off happy that you finally found a big cloak. Then you walk into SW and see players will long cool looking cloaks and you search the ends of azeroth until you find yourself one.

I always wondered how those chest boxes could contain and insulate something like an ice cold milk lol.

If you knew where the rare spawns were or just had a tailor friend they were a lot less... exciting.

TBH in 2005 even around lvl25 I still looked forward to potential white vendor upgrades.

Yeah to be honest upgrading gear before level 20 is pretty pointless because you're going to get, what, 1 strength? 2 stamina? When you hit level 10 you start doing battlegrounds although Idk if you could do that back in those days, but now days you can try to do PVP until about level 20, then all the points you saved up you spend on PVP gear. So that by level 20-25 you should have full blue items. And while thats kinda good, its not that much better than full green items. Comparing full white items, to full green items, its like, what, 20 strength, 20 stamina? Might seem like a lot, but it realy isnt. thats literally like, nothing because strength scales so stupidly. Stamina is good, it scales kinda good, but 200 health more than 1000 is 1200. Thats only about a 20% boost. Its not that special. You can literally play pretty much the whole game in white gear, because gear gives so few stats that it really is pointless.

I remember being by raven hill on my first character, I saw a treasure chest and just looted it, some guy nearby shouted "OMG YOU NINJA" at me I was so confused and he rage explained to me what a ninja was and that he was fighting mobs to get that chest, I tried to trade it to him and he told me to fuck off and ran away hahahaha. I'll never forget it as long as I live.

I remember one of my very first characters - a gnome mage around 2005. I was level 6 and got a beautiful robe as a quest reward. Somehow I ended up deleting my character. I could not remember where did I get that robe from so I created a forum thread 😅.

Getting that blue mace would have made my entire week when I played as a kid

Made a new toon this week and Im currently lvl 38 and have not found a single bag...and now this video is recommended to me. Like the wow old gods are taunting me.

Wow this was literally me in 2005…

I remember me playing wow for the first time in my life - level 56 warrior, still with mail armor. While i was messing around in Orgrimmar (mainly inspecting other people's characters and trying on their gear in inspect window and telling myself that i will look like that once i hit level 70) i got a whisper from a guy telling me, that at my level i can already wear a plate armor... WOW ! Plate armor! so i went to the auction house and bought all the plate i could - most of it was with intellect, but i didn't care (and probably even didn't know intellect wasn't for me (pun intended)) Ah and one more thing - at level 30 or so i relized i still didn't have any helmet, so i rushed to the guildbank to see if there are any available - and there it was - Felcloth Hood and to spice it up - i was able to withdraw it with my daily limit. i was blown away i finally had a piece of head armor, my warrior looked so cool ! (or so i thought) Oh, and that time when someone was offering 5 gold to join their guild, i thought i was hitting the major leagues with that 5g on my character, i could buy all the cool gear that one NPC offered me in undercity !

All I'm going to say, the alt doesn't feel played on until you get your first shoulder drop.

So in the previous version video I commented that he actually should've found a better weapon almost instantly after, so that he would've completely wasted all of his gold on the maul, and he'd be poor. AzAMOus if you made this video based off of my comment I'd just like to say, thanks.

Yeah I’m 99% sure he added himself finding a rare weapon. Original video had him just get killed by a high lvl after buying the trash hammer. This time he found a rare weapon (in the original vid peeps kept commenting about how they wish this is what happened so it’d be funny that he wasted gold).

Man i remeber back when i was but a nube and i was on my first classic wow private server cuz i wanted to experience it. This was in around cata. I remember making a paladin and putting all my spells on the bars and went to the target dummy. I tried to attack for 5 mins and i remeber thinking to myself "wow this class only has 1 attack spell, it's literally useless!" Ah good times

If you find a bag while you're still in the starting zone: Then your character will be a success. Thats a saying, we had in vanilla Wow.

I KNEW IT. I was sittin here soon as you saw the chest sayin, yep, rogue will gank you. I thought it would be while you were opening the chest... nope.. I was wrong. Still satisfied though lol.

So.... There is two options here when you find such a mace. Use it yourself... Or go the greed-route, since you already bought a perfectly bad mace.
