Btw according to wca if u have 1 piece wrong it still counts as a solved cube. If u have 2 unsolved, it counts as a DNF. So really, he still got the wr single

I can't tell if this is satire or not, but it's because he already knows the scramble, and it's very easy to complete. World records are also only recorded if solved during a competition. Let's say all those things weren't the case, and he did manage to get a 2.6 during a competition. During the solve he had a twisted corner. According to competition rules you have to turn the corner back to its proper state before stopping the timer, or it won't count.
