Esta emblemática plaza, diseñada originalmente por Dicken Castro, el famoso arquitecto Bogotano, es famosa por sus ensaladas de frutas, porque son preparadas con 17 frutas diferentes; esta plaza es pionera en los jugos exóticos como el berraquillo y el borojó; se dice además, que allí nació la idea de adicionar miel a las ensaladas. Tiene un puesto de lectura en el que se realizan actividades lúdicas y talleres para los niños de los visitantes. Esta plaza es la más grande del distrito con cerca de 750 comerciantes y una de las más visitadas, no solo por el entorno inmediato que la rodea, pues también llegan visitantes de toda la ciudad.
