Hi! Thank you for your comment and support! The truck is a good trailer too, better than what I had a year ago. Everything works in this trailer and I am satisfied. Last year we had a trailer that had to be constantly repaired and maintained! Hello from Poland! And you take care of yourself!

Hi Niko, great video as always. I was wondering if you may answer a few questions, since I'm actually planning on getting a CE+CQC license and becoming a truck driver. It's the usual questions you may have read a bunch of times. For context, I'm 23, I live in Northern Italy, I have a degree in Economics and I really love driving and being on the road in general. Is it difficult to get the license? I had zero trouble preparing for my B license and it was a breeze, I felt comfortable driving from the very first minute. How long does it take to get a job where you drive an articulated lorry instead of e.g. a rigid chassis truck? Do you have to do a few months of training in a company with a partner or are you alone from the beginning? Is the pay good? I know you are not from Italy, but I'm sure you have a good perspective on the pay levels across Europe. How much free time do you get? From what I could gather, you get more free time the longer the trips you do, because of the way the rest time works. Do you do long trips by default or do you start with small trips like A to B to A in one day? If this is the case, how long does it take until you are offered longer trips? How is the toilet situation? Like showering is my main concern. I honestly have no clue on how many days you spend away from home on a trip. In the case it's a week or so, where do you shower? When you have to sleep in the truck on a multi-day trip, are you allowed a full 8 hours of sleep or is it just 6 hours or 7 because the 8 hours account for the full stop and not just the sleep? That's all I could think of for now, if you were kind enough to answer me, I'd be grateful. Safe driving mate, have a nice day!

Hi Jack! If you like the work of a truck driver from the information that you see in the KZread video and you are ready to change the boring monotonous life in the office for exciting and interesting trips on a big truck throughout Europe, then you are going in the right direction and you need to confidently go and make a CE license. Getting a license is not difficult but not cheap, it is better to learn the rules and boldly go to the exam. The complexity of the work itself depends on the company in which you get a job. Each company has its own specifics and the main criterion is the approach of the authorities to the time of your work. In many companies, the authorities force drivers to work more than normal, violate the rules of rest on the tachograph and ask to go longer than the tachograph allows you. Never agree to such violations because only you will be responsible for the consequences. In Europe there are several types of systems of work by trucks. The first system it when you go to a cadence on Monday and come back on Saturday. Then again you leave on Monday and you come back on Saturday. In such system you will have no time for private life. There is a system two weeks on trips two weeks of the house but for these two weeks on trips you will work everything the resolved 90 hours of driving. It is the best system of work and in Europe pay from 1800 to 2800 euros in dependence for it that you will carry. There is a 4/2 system there is 6/3 there is 8/4. Each company can offer its own working conditions. The legal part of wages is calculated based on the hourly rate in each country in a different gross for the hour of work on the tachograph. Sleep and rest in the cabin pay extra diets per day from 12 euros. As for toilets and the ability to shower in this, there is no problem because there are good parking lots everywhere with the ability to shower go to the weaver and wash your things in the washing machine. The main thing is that the company in which you get a job will pay you the cost of parking in safe parking lots. These are all paid services but in Italy there are Autogrill gas stations there toilets are free. If you manage to get a job in good company right away, it will be good. But I think that at the very beginning you will have to work somewhere where there will be not very good conditions at the beginning and to gain experience you will need to be patient and work for less money for gaining driving experience and understanding topography. You can rest in a truck as much as the tachograph allows you. A minimum of 9 hours of rest and 15 hours of work is three times a week and three times at least 11 hours of rest and 13 hours, respectively. In total, 24 hours in a single crew. One year of intensive work will be enough for you to then be able to choose the companies in which you want to go to work. Do not be afraid of anything, go to your goal and you will enjoy your work!

​@@nikotimer thank you very much, this is comforting. Two last questions I just though of: do you load your own truck and if so how often? Or is it more common for warehouses to use forklifts to load while you just secure the cargo? During resting how do you spend your time? I figured, in your case you have a YT channel, so maybe editing and admin stuff, but in general do you chill watching Netflix and such on your laptop or else? Either way, thank you so much, you definitely cleared my mind on the matter. I'll probably get to it since the cost of getting a license is not a problem for me or my family, thankfully. In the meantime, Euro Truck Simulator is giving me a taste of what it feels like to drive a truck. Thank you again!

I drive a frigo trailer and I get loaded with loaders from the loading ramp. Our company cooperates with the same regular customers on this I know all the people who perform the download. Sometimes I help these guys. I fix only that load that is not stable by straps. I have special straps-belts for such cases. I spend my free time editing videos for KZread and uploading them to the Internet. My truck has a current inverter and I connect my laptop to a current of 220 volts. But there are also special power supplies for a 24-volt laptop, so you can watch Netflix in any free time! If you already understand the logic of driving long trucks from the experience of playing ETS, then it will be easy for you to work on such a truck. It is important to understand that in order to turn, you need to take an additional place to pass the trailer behind the tractor. @@nikotimer thank you very much. Yes I have the basics of driving an articulated truck, what is missing is having a feel of the actual size of the thing while driving. A screen can only deliver up to a certain point. Can't wait to drive one for real, though. Thank you for answering, I'll definitely be watching your future videos to learn all I can!

The main three rules that you should remember in this work: Never in a hurry (drive a truck carefully), Do not be afraid of anything and the third main rule be stress-free (do not pay attention to anyone if you drove in the wrong place and everyone around you honks and screams) A little later you will have questions about navigation and how to use it!
