POV Skimboarding Crystal Clear Waves
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Blair takes you POV skimming on the glassiest and Clearest waves we have seen this fall. Zac Henderson tags along and tests his skills on one of the most difficult skimming waves in Laguna. This Skylar Wilson edit ends with a beautiful sunset of straight waves at Aliso Beach.

Blair never fails to amaze me with his abilities, I mean, look at the friggin rocks he's skimming over, imagine catching a rail!
These guys are always so much fun to watch.
This was a fun video. Thanks for taking us to the beach today.
Skimming looks so much fun wish I was young enough to try it
LFG BOYS!!!! well done great video
Awesome!! That water is so clear!! Nice skim footage!!
Him and Austin Keen are some of the best.
Our sunsets in California are the best! Reach for the Skylar.
The Raw POV videos are definitely the best

Glad you enjoy them because they are pretty much my favorite to shoot
Sick POV
That is so sick! I got a skimboard heavy weird one. But keen to get started!
Most Excellent ¿
Little Paul looked freezing again.
Nice sessions ☀️🌤️🏄🏻♂️
So cool. Beautiful water. Where’s the 1st section @?
Legit POV rides and captures. Hard to make skim footage look good, but you definitely did it. Nice slides and rides around those rocks. You gotta check out the southern Oregon spot sometime in summer, which sets up very similar to this.

I would love to get up there! I know you have done some Skim surveying of that zone. Let me know when you head up there next
“Kinda brutal - run as fast as you can and still not make a wave.” Welcome to my world, Blair 😉

We’ll make it out of the trenches one day brother 😂
Can you let me know what brand your main skimboard is ive been trying to find one and i love your tutorials and videos they inspired me to start❤
Crystal clear waters. Nice size fish leap in the background at 4:15. Blair trying some weird ice skating one footed something at 8:14? Has any designed a stepped board bottom to allow more air under it creating less drag? Look up stepped hull design for boats to see what I mean. Might be an innovation to skimboards. Or not.
❤️
I see Chris is backsliding again 😮
Impressive! Why is it that you are only able to retain your speed when the front of the board is parallel with the shoreline and the center of gravity is low by bending the knees? Is it similar to conservation of angular momentum (e.g. when you’re spinning in a chair with your arms out, you spin faster just by pulling them in)? My skimboarding just can’t get to the next level because I always sink when I get a few feet into the water 😢
Here's the mission. Just once. Frontside wrap to backside barrel. 🤙
I’d like to see Blair skim uk Cornwall, some good spots here that only pros can get to
I've never gone skimboarding, so why do they enter the water with the board facing forward, then turn it sideways until they reach a wave?
Yewww 🤙
09:55 Intense Moonwalk into Wave action! 🌊
☺️
Short haired Blair isn’t real, he can’t hurt you
the bird from surf's up is real?

Hey Blair I’m going tmr I live in Delaware so it will be cold
can we do that same trick with a wooden board or only with this types of boards ? could someone help me please

You definitely can, the only reason they don't use them is because wooden boards are typically flimsier and they hurt more if you catch the side of one to your shins.
