Placing your hands on a belt sander and applying 200 lbs of pressure is what a road crash feels like on your hands. But that’s not the worse part. At the hospital, they have to remove all the gravel embedded in your open flesh with a little plastic scrub brush to prevent infection. If you’re like me, you have to find out for yourself. Bike sounds great.

Just get a cheap pair with palm sliders for now from cycle gear or something Anything is better than nothing though. You'll get used to it in no time and will feel naked if you don't have them on. Your bike sounds awesome. I miss that sound I got rid of my R1 in 2019.

I love the sound of that cross plane 4. There are a couple R1s running around my neighborhood and I hear them late at night hitting the on ramp to the interstate running through the gears. It's music.

Damn this bike is no joke. Just music to the ears. Makes sense because Yamaha makes amazing instruments.

Sounds better than my buddy's RSV4. I thought my AR on S1KRR was loud. Sounds like a GP bike. Ride safe!

Do you have a link for the exhaust you bought? I see a different option for the 2022-2023 models but some people say the 15+ fits as well.

@@Builtmoto My man! I wan't to take videos like this! I have a gopro hero 7 black. I assume you are using a chin mounted gopro. I've looked up settings and got it pretty much set up. I was wondering two things though, what is this video captured in? (16:9/4:3, superview/wide) And I noticed the wind noise isn't bad at all, do you just have the wind mic setting on or do you have some sort of foam over the microphones?

Yeah they do sound Amazing, even in stock format. Just did my first thousand kilometer oil change so now it's time to rip. I'll have to try and find somebody local in Ontario Canada to do the ECU Flash. I'll have to reach out to Hindle they're only about 45 minutes from me, I had their full system on my 2006 and 2010 FZ1. Enjoy the Ride, I do!

Be honest, is it too loud? Everyone in my mt10 page on Facebook says it’s just too damn loud.

Am i the only one who loves the cp4's howling mid range noise? I wish they could put this on a muscle cruiser. With higher displacement, more torque and lower rev range to maximize that sweet noise. Not everyone likes their engine screaming all the time. It's not good for gas mileage too.

@@Builtmoto hell yea its going to feel so much better once its un restricted im excited and yea I know what you mean its going to be a little bit to get used to having it so loud, when I had my 2017 zx10r I rocked the Brocks alien head and it was the loudest exhaust ive had eventually I got used to it and didn't bother me I love hearing the engine scream, mine ran half way decent when I put link pipe on but definitely is lean you can tell when trying to cruise just feels a little harsh on off throttle and it runs way hotter I believe they can change the fan temp to come on sooner which it didn't really run hot before putting link pipe on so I think with proper air fuels its fine but nice to have fan kick on sooner anyway keep it as cool as possible

I am 6’1 or 185cm and 210 lbs or 95kg and the MT09 fit me well but the MT10 offers me a little more wind cover. Both bikes have more than enough power to move me around

Did you do AIS block off? I'm having mine flashed and putting on a black widow mid pipe this week but the folks at 2WDW say the 2022 is different than the Gen 1 and that the AIS system is in an default open position so it'll pop like crazy what has been your experience?

It does pop quite a lot! And they are very loud and aggressive pops. I am getting a tune done within the next month to see if it can be cleaned up, because it is running super rich

so the stock S22 and the new S22 are totally different from my experience on my 2021 Mt-09 and the replacement tyres will last around 1000-1500 miles more

I typically only ever plug in my GoPro 360 to keep it charged up as I’m riding. But I have never had the fuse blow

The bike has a quick shifter haha. Clutch less up and down shifts and the bike rev matches

The bike is installed with a quick shifter so after I get into 1st gear the bike will do the rev matching and auto rev blipping for me as I push down or pull up on the shifter

That was a issue for a little while but as soon as I got the bike tuned that all went away. It was restricted in the original tuning of the bike as to keep the front wheel on the ground

Awesome bike and awesome-er sound. Now for the love of God put some Gloves on. Crazy story. Been riding long ass time. I’ve only not wore gloves on one ride in my entire life 20+ years. Well had a Tank slapped that day. I forgot my gloves cause I was driving my car to where my bike was at the time realized it. And refused to turn around to “save time” 5 years later my right hand and thumb is still fucked. ain’t worth it . Don’t care how hot it is . Don’t care how I’m comfortable it is. Trust me. The result of no gloves and a crash is much much more uncomfortable

How much did it cost? And did you get it tuned?

the bike has a quick shifter installed that allows me to up and downshift without using the clutch. I only have to use the clutch when leaving a stop in 1st gear

Do they have decent air flow? A leather glove is nice until it is stuck on your hand from 100 degree weather causing the glove to shrink and your hand to sweat lol

Yep, the bike is installed with a factory quick shifter up and down. So after first gear I do not have to use the clutch to up shift and when downshifting the bike will auto blip as well. It is super cool technology that has made its way down to most large CC naked bikes now

1) I have yet to see ANY MT-10 with a pipe/cat change that DOESN'T spit, pop and burble, even the ones supposedly "re-flashed". 2) No gloves? Hurts when you crash. 3) I would hate to own a bike like this in a place with no hills.

Sadly Texas roads are pretty flat and straight but luckily there are a few race tracks around that I can get to pretty quickly and ride the bike like it is designed to be ridden!
