I’ve had mine for around 2 years. The sound is just beautiful. I couldn’t have been happier. I get complements all the time on the road. I almost wish it was just a little louder. Some days it’s quieter then other days which is weird. But when it’s loud it sounds amazing

I snagged my 2016 GT stick daily driver already modded with Eibach lowering & Roush x-pipe/cat-backs/tips & resonator delete, & in the higher Rs, it does blast a rasp. It's great - young guys often up-thumb me - but I have to say I like the deeper tones of the ATAK setup. I now have an H-pipe, due to losing a debate with a speed bump, which I notice is slightly less raspy. I think the Coyote Roush setup is cooler when NOT maxing out Rs - deep AND raw...The 302.1 with extra breathing never fails to engender a priapic smile. It does NOT disappoint!

Sounds similar to the AWE Touring Edition I have on my 2018 Mustang GT. Love the deep tone. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Nice! I was going back and forth and decided to with the Borla S Type. It sounds wonderful. Same throaty sound but the Atak is louder. Enjoy the ride, thanks for sharing the experience.

Just picked up my Corsa Xtreme after dreaming of having it on my stang for 2 year’s. But now im on youtube just finding cool videos of exhaust and of course the Borla Atak is now a big peek of interest. Sounds amazing and wouldnt mind having either or now.

Dude. I'm only 4 minutes in but thank you so much you are 100% right. I have seen hardly any videos on the Borla other than Borla's own videos, especially of the ATAK.. and they always make the ATAK sound like it has no bass/ no growl.. I dunno why. It doesn't make sense how you have the touring which has growl, S-Type which has growl, both deep.. then ATAK wouldn't be deep.. but yours sounds hella deep. Only video I have heard that confirms this. The other reason I like Borla is because they guarantee no drone. My last Mustang had a Pypes system and the drone was horrendous.. and I hear pretty much all exhaust system have drone except for Borla.

i have the exact same setup and it simply sounds absolutely beautiful almost like a symphony up to about half throttle, but if you really mash it it makes the most insane scream/roar. no other cat back can compete. plain and simple.

@@ohshitmax if it doesn’t have the active valve system on the exhaust then you won’t have the exhaust modes. I think it will just be open all the time but Im pretty sure the drive modes will still be able to be changed. Just won’t be able to open and close the exhaust.

Yeah, this is a much worthy replacement for my G35 Coupe 6MT; time for an S550 Mustang 5.0 or GT350.

What brand euros do you have if you don't mind me asking? My 2020 GT came with clear tails from the previous owner but they act like the stock taillights and I liked the start up animation on yours a lot. Been thinking about getting this exhaust thanks for the video.

look up euro tail light color customization on youtube, typically these Euro Tail Lights can be changed through the wired connection itself. If you look up a video you will see exactly what I mean by that, and since yours is a 2020 it should be quite simple and straightforward.

Borla ATAKS do not have drone. Dont confuse drone with exhaust noise.

I have Corsa Sport quads, but if I could, I'd go with the Borla ATAK quads. The reason is that the Borla is $1000 more than the Corsa. It's just too expensive.

What made you pick the Borla Atak over the S-type? The S-Type has more of the deeper exhaust note, just not as loud. I'm looking between the two.

I chose the Atak mainly because the S Type was quieter than the Atak, according to the videos and comments i read, I was looking for something louder, on the level of corsa extremes.

The swap is pretty easy. I've done it on both of my mustangs. All you need is jacks, jackstands, and some wrenches. Took 20 minutes start to finish

Why did you say that was a fake ZL1 how could you tell?

Borla sounds best on the mustang and the challenger - Corsa on the camaro. IMO the camaro engine is the only one that sounds good with that corsa sound at higher RPM's. I absolutely despise the raspy mustang sound you get with some exhausts on higher RPM's and this ATAK sounds really good.
