The main piece of advice I always offer is to hang out with people who are older and more settled into a life that you could see yourself being happy in. Meaning you would be satisfied with their lifestyle in terms of free time, financials, family, and fun. Most people just want to party with people their age, which is totally cool and understandable, but they don't have a good balance. The people who most likely have the best advice to offer aren't "cool" to hangout with at face value, or it may look a little strange to see it. Figure out what you can do to get around them, you will usually have to provide something. What I provided was social media content, but there are many other things you can provide to hang around with older people like this. The chances of it being something involving the new digital era is just extremely high, and quite honestly easier for the "younger" generations because it tends to be "harder" for the older generations. There is always money AND knowledge being handed down to the younger generations by the older generations, you just need to see where you fit in to that equation, and most ignore it. If you think you don't have a lot to learn from the older generation, you are sadly mistaken. Unfortunately, a lot of the younger generations cross their arms and believe they don't have much to learn. When you drop that ego, figure out what you can do to learn, you'll win big time. People around you will wonder what the hell happened. The "what" shouldn't be the main question, it's the "how". Meaning how will you be in a position to have something like this, not "what" you will do to get it, because that varies way too much. That's why these "one size fits all" business model courses are mostly bullshit. If you actually do this (which most won't), you'll get whatever you want (within reason obviously, everyone only has a certain amount of time, and if you weren't born rich, which I wasn't, you can really only set up your family lineage to continue to grow).

Don't use drugs to cover your mental health issues. However, if you're 14, you should be worried about being a kid and enjoying yourself. Not comparing the idea of your future self to others. That being said, you should have some form of work as soon as you can so you can develop those muscles. Even if you're a busser at a pizza shop, be a really good busser. You'll see how other people just really don't want to put effort into their work. It's the "when/then" fallacy, "Well when I get a better job, then I'll work harder". That's not how it works IMO.
