I think its not franchise cuz basically Giants are making every game, it would be franchise if other developer did Farming Simulator on their license

I started with fs 11,played fs15 and fs 17 and now playing the fs22, nice to see how well it developed over the years.

nah the memories, rember playing this game with my grandpa, he would always explain to me how the machines wored in real life, sadly he passed away in 2020😞

Up until a few years ago when my old Windows Vista machine died I was playing FS2011 daily. Some of the mods that were available then made the game more realistic in some ways than what we have now with FS22. Specifically the Claas 760TT I think. IC with working cameras on the header, something that was lost when the mod never made it into a game newer than FS2013. Another mod I can think of off the top of my head that blows my mind was the JohnDeere Hillmaster II pack with its fully controllable components (header, separater ect). Nostalgic game, and by far the height of the franchise’s modding community.

@@gregshearer423 in fs17, the american modding community started inventing aspects not just equipment, look at the kst map. its got dregding, dgging, logging, lawn care and more

the nostalgia hits hard on this one. i remember growing all canola for 1 week straight just to grind for money. Canola was a beast crop in those days 😅

Can't wait to look back at Farming Simulator 2022 in 2035 and think, "man, I can't believe that's what it used to be like, it's missing so many features like interplanetary travel!"

So many good memories, for me, this together with FS13 was peak FS for me. Profarm addon was really beautiful in this game. Like if you harvested wheat in Riverside.

The memories... I started my Farming adventure with Landwirtschaft Simulator 2009 Gold Edition bought in Germany, when I was at my uncle's place... Then I found Farming Simulator 2011 there in Italy at my local Game Stop shop, and from that I played also FS 13 and FS 15. After that I had to stop because my old pc wasn't able to support FS 17 and 19, till the past year, when I was finally able to get a proper gaming laptop, and then I took the brand new FS 22. Maaaan... What a feeling🥺

I bought FS15 but our Family PC was to Bad so somwhere i found FS11 i Installed it and played with about 10-15 FPS it was so much Fun until i was able to buy a Laptop for FS15 and the n FS17 .... That was the Most fun ive ever had...

bro ls9 gold edition is probably the best DLC in gaming history. like fr in the base game you only had the skill issue equipment, and then in the DLC you got all those Horsch machines and also the automatic bale loading trailer. it made the game so much better. also the mods were crazy cursed and that was amazing

Modders are something incredible, they can completely change the dynamics of a game, transforming it into another game, and thanks to them that a game like Farming Simulator can lasts so long... Take a look at Euro Truck Simulator 2 for example, that has celebrated its 10th birthday yesterday, october 18!

OMG, I used to play this daily. When I was sick and home from school I played it all day long. So many memories❤

Same here

FS11 was the first game of FS-series that I played and I'm still playing it occassionally. Nowadays my main game of the series is FS17. I've tried FS19 also, but didn't like it as much, so I came back to FS17 and sticking onto it. Haven't even bothered to try FS22 so far.

most of my childhood was based on fs13 so much memories... i still play fs11 and fs13

The straw literally looks so much better in an 2010 game than a 22 game

The first farming simulator I’ve ever played. Brings back so many great memories of my childhood playing these awesome games.

Atleast every tractor doesn't sound the same like fs22

The older I am the more rememberings i get for this game this game was my childhood and now im doing this in real life uncredoble memories that this game gave me nostalgia hits hard

Bro it's 2022 and I still play Farming Simulator 2015 and it's peerfect game!

That was my entry not only into farming simulator but also into gaming.

It's truly impressive how far the game has came I've played every farm sim and they get better and better with each new game. new crops,new features,new animals,bigger and better maps,better graphics the workers have gotten way better.they have pretty much every major brand in farming licensed which is a hell of a feat.FS11 holds a special place in my heart but stop acting like the game never gets any better

well it does get better tho its behind many other games of its time. for example if you look at the graphics, there are plenty of games from like 2017 which look way better than ls22

Its also impressive how much is lost on the functionality over the year. En how much harder it got to make mods/scrips work on the later games. Not to mention we still on that same base engine from Demolition company.

aw man, you make me wish I still had the titanium edition of fs 11 I managed to find in a thrift store 7 years ago.

I got farm sim 2011 at a flee market one year as a younger kid and gave got every game since then

The only reason I play the old games as because textures and lighting was so much better in FS15-17, Mods were a lot better too. The reason I dont play FS22 is due to their lighting and lack of modded maps, you can only play the 2 starting maps for so long, It's nice to look back on the old games

Crop textures (especially wheat/barley or whatever it is) is almost the same as in FS22. 10 years of difference and they couldnt make it better. Graphic in FS22 is much better, but everything else is not that much improved. Lazy Giants.
