I'm one of the people who asked for this video, thank you for delivering sir🙏👌. As far as reliability and common failures are concerned, I can agree to the water pump and gearbox being more robust given it has a wet clutch set-up. I owned one for few months, a 2019 model with less than 75k on the clock but they had replaced a water pump on it already.

Tip: if you buy the Polo GTI AW try to get a 2018 model. That doesn’t have the OPF yet, and has much louder sound. Especially better sound while shifting and some pops when letting of the gas

I have a 2019 AW, VW mapped my one to sound soft and I just did a stage 2 tune once.

@@Odii43 yes it does, the 2018 still has it. I have the 2018 model without OPF, and you still get pretty loud DSG farts and pops

Bro I just want to ask you something. Do you think it's ideal to buy a used AW with over 100K kilos over the 6c? because I have a friend whose AW is still going strong and hasn't given him any mechanical issues. It's over 150K kilos. The 6c seems like it starts generating a lot of mechanical problems soon as it jumps that 100K mark.

The 6c is quite problematic once it reaches 100k km, so I'd say the AW is a safer bet, the gearbox is much better reliability wise, maybe push for one that's like 90k km?

I'm in the market for one so please drop a Exterior review bro you a king 🤴

Dq250 aren't known for having mechatronics issues. They do happen for sure, but they're rare and not as common as on the DQ200.
