    Where have you placed the mic, stock exhaust but sounds so deep. Great video 😎. I'm going to buy this bike very soon. This Maverick is confusing me but 90% favouring this bike. What's the fuel average at the speeds you did here? 25kmpl I assume

    HI Srinath thanks for the compliments! I've placed my mobile phone as an external mic in the right pocket of the pant covered with soft cloth to minimise further wind noise. Maverick is also a good looking motorcycle (definitely better than Hero Davidson 😜) fuel mileage was 22 kmpl (200 km ride in period done)

    @@ParasChaudhary21Hi Paras, if you ride like this during run-in period, I can't imagine how you'll rip the bike after 1st service 😀 but anyway that's the way to ride that bike. Maverick seating and suspension comfort might be more, torque is also 10nm more but it's also 40kg heavier. I suddenly realised I've seen your 350rs video too with similar mic placement. That was a good one too. If the speed display on the top left is GPS derived, then can you pls post a top speed of the 300r because it does have speedo error. Thanks in advance, from Bangalore 😉

    Yeah Break-in period (my favourite part) is limiting me a little 😬. Will definitely post a top speed video after 1st service as I can't stay on full throttle/constant RPM for more than 1-2 seconds to avoid hotspots in engine parts. For the best engine break-in I made a special request to Honda Bigwing Kangra to deliver the new vehicle at my location because the showroom is 235 kms from my town i.e. Shimla and didn't want to waste my crucial first 200kms in a long ride.

    Yeah, that would have been so cool. I am liking it, it gives more confidence in the corner, braking and feels more comfortable too as suspension on 350 is too stiff even on lowest setting

    @@jiraiyasama106 sure. New engines are needed to run at low rpms and less stress because there will be some friction between new parts, so they will damage engine if high revs or more stress is given during that time

  • @ParasChaudhary21

    @ParasChaudhary21

    It's called the Break-in or Run-in period (which I particularly enjoy) yes, it is advised by the sales executive or mentioned in the owner's manual not to exceed 6000 rpm for safety reasons. This precaution allows riders to acquaint themselves with the new motorcycle, including the brakes and tires, which also require a break-in period. The company refrains from endorsing pushing the limits to avoid potential legal ramifications. In my case, I am confidently operating at full throttle due to prior experience with the motorcycle, familiarity with the road, and assurance that the tires and brakes are sufficiently warmed up. To prevent engine hotspots, I avoid prolonged full throttle or constant RPM, opting for a diverse range of RPMs and gears, including zero to full throttle maneuvers (briefly touching and returning). This practice contributes to a more effective seal between the piston and cylinder wall.

    @@ParasChaudhary21great I had test driven this one and blown away by its performance actually I had a CB 350 and sold it for an interceptor but interceptors weight and fuel efficiency is not practical for daily drives I am person who takes my motorcycle everywhere so like its shown in the end of the video collecting parcel from post office,such kinds of tricky places and situations interceptor is not the one we enjoy so much ., so I think need these kind of bikes for all kind of riding,also we too have such kind of broken roads how does the suspension feel? I am asking because I was not allowed to take test drive through broken roads.

  • @ParasChaudhary21

    @ParasChaudhary21

    Hi 👋 Our stories are somewhat similar. Initially, I opted for the CB350 RS (my second favorite) The Interceptor was my first choice, but budget constraints led me to the CB350 RS. However, after experiencing the handling of the CB350 RS, I wasn't impressed with Interceptor but it was so opposite with 300R so decided to switch to it. I've become a fan of its power and lightweight design, especially for city commuting. Despite the CB300R having a stiff suspension, it surprisingly feels much softer when navigating bumps and speed breakers compared to the CB350 RS.
