when i was 12 the only "makeup" i used was those lip gloss rollers that smelled like watermelons and those tiny glitter cream eyeshadow palletes that had the consistency of glitter glue 😭

As a teenager who isn't really like this, it sucks. People in my class, hell, the whole school, are all like this, and it drives me insane. And the fact that I'm the "Nerd"/"Emo kid"/whatever else they wanna call me just because I don't act like this is so fucking annoying. They constantly talk shit about everyone, too, then get mad when someone says one negative thing about them or stands up for themselves and their friends, which is honestly super annoying. I really hope those who are like this can come to their senses soon and stop acting so immature, to be honest. It's getting annoying

@favefaye I never said there was anything wrong with not wanting to be a doctor, I was just pointing out that Sephora kids don't want to be doctors, so that seemed inaccurate in her portrayal. Influencing can make you money, but it is not a "real" job in the sense that you don't do anything to keep the world functioning. Also, the odds of every single Sephora kid becoming a rich and famous influencer are slim to none.

at 12 i'll admit i had a lot of makeup but i definitely didn't wear it daily. mascara? got my first one i think when i was 14. i also like never went to sephora or ulta; everything was from target or stuff my mom didn't want. what i remember most was a target eyeshadow palette that i ADORED, neon pink lip gloss, too many lip things for my own good, and blush. now at 14 i have MUCH more, but even now my daily look is literally just mascara and highlighter, and when I'm not feeling lazy, countour, blush, and eyeshadow. I guess when i was 11/12 the point of makeup was to stand out, but now it's to fit in.
