yes don’t leave it in the little toilet box for too long. but using vinegar in the toilet bowl to loosen up the rust doesn’t damage it.

There are some older homes that do not have a shut off valve to the toilet, tub or sink. You have to shut off all the water to the home at the main valve. If it's city water, you will have to shut off water to the whole house at the water meter. If you do not have city water, find the main water pipe that brings water into the home. It should have a shut off valve on it.

Don’t put vinegar in ur tank. It’s wears down the seals. Not a good idea.

From time to time you have to clean it. The dirt building back there will stain the bowl making you clean your bowl more often.

Vinegar can break down the plastic seals in the tank. Not a good idea.

Takes a long time to do that. One just has to use a bit of common sense when applying.

Terrible advice. Tape the jets with duct tape and then pour 1 quart of vinegar down the overflow tube. Leave it in there overnight. Remove the duct tape and flush the toilet. And just say no to useless Ai YT shorts. thank me later.

I have found that vinegar also cleans the bowl. Why did you not tell folks that that type of cock stop, angle stop, control valve or what ever you wish to call it in some cases will leak in the process of closing or opening it.
