I truly miss your intro music, it was a perfect match to your personality, wonderful job as usual
Am happy for enlighten the people and we are proud of all the Gambian business owned. The government should protect and support our business men and women.
nice to see this
We cannot have enough Poultry Farms in the Gambia, given the situation of undernourishment and protein difficiency amongst our people. It is of course also important for the achievement of food self-sufficiency, but will also reduce our import bill. Instead of just investing in building houses and estates, these are the kind of enterprises we need in the Gambia. Jarama Mr Bah!
Very interesting to see. Mr. Bah is truly inspiring! I know he is not the only one spending many years in Europe and thereafter going back to Africa, but people like him get No attention at all in European media! (and they really should get their own documentaries in National Geographic or at ARTE !!) - There are however things which are not mentioned which logically are part of this work: Cleaning out the menure (kudos to you Isatu who didn't say one word about the smell - I know these places smell very strong! ;-) from the chickens - keeping these houses reasonable clean to avoid illness among the birds AND clean out dead birds + sort out which birds that will go to slaughter. A hen is only kept for a limited time and at a certain age it doesn't produce that many eggs anymore it is slaughtered. I also miss - but that might be because the place has only been occupied for one year (and in only one year a lot of work has been accomplished!) - that there are no big trees. Big trees give a lot of shade and will help to protect the birds. Also with big trees and the right protections he could maybe slowly start with birds outdoors as that kind of poultry farming is more ecological. In Europe biological pesticide free food is very popular, only in Brussels there are more than 20 supermarkets selling ecological food. - The challenge of course to protect from diseases spread by other birds and animals. The ground and soil must also be examined that it doesn't contain industrial waste like led, mercury and other toxic waste. I wish Mr. Bah all luck and prosperity he can get the coming years! (I hope he will read this.)
Mr. Bah and the farm to feed the nation, a real success story.
Congratulations to the owner and his his workers. A good step towards solving part of the problem. With agriculture a country will always face food shortages. Gambia has a fertile land and agriculture is part of its growth...

In rural areas in the gambia you don't need to buy land for farming you just need to borrow it and every year you most inform the owner that you will be working there again
