Potting Up New Korean Succulents & How I deal with THIRSTY Dehydrated Succulents
This is how I pot up new succulents. I purchased these on Etsy and received them shipped to me through the mail. The Etsy store I purchased them from is “MaySlateArt”. I’ve purchased 4 separate times from this online succulents plant shop and have always been very happy with the succulents I receive.
Near the end of the video I share what I do to help really THIRSTY and dehydrated succulents I receive in the mail. And what I do with my newly potted up succulents.

I ordered some of that soil treatment that I saw in this video and I was wondering, how long can you let your succulent sit in that solution?

I have let mine sit in the solution for a little over a week before. I treat it just like I would propagating any plant. You eventually need to change the water otherwise it gets gross. The water will get nasty if you leave it too long. Which isn’t good for the plant. I wouldn’t leave it longer than a week. Then I use regular clean water if the plant is still thirsty and is not fully plump yet. Right now I still have the “Wedding Dress” in regular water since this video. It still isn’t plump all the way. And I change the water like every 3 days. It’s also grown new roots for me while sitting in the water. I’m guessing in another week it will be FINALLY fully plump and ready to plant in soil mix and in a pot. Hope that helps. ❤️

@@Police_wife08 Haha! I know the feeling ALL too well. It’s such an addicting hobby. I’m OBSESSED too as you can see. 😆 I really don’t mind you asking me questions. I really wish I had someone to help me out when I first started. That’s WHY I’m here. To help. 🥰 I also think it’s FUN to talk to others. I really don’t have anyone IRL to talk to about succulents.
