I loved playing Palm pilot or hash browns with my family when we would go camping in the Michigan upper peninsula. Now that I have kids of my own I plan on passing down the tradition. I even have my old Palm pilot and old hash browns.

That ending probably came about because they created this game show idea, then they told the intern (yes, just the one intern) to buy some potatoes. But they didn't tell said intern that they only needed three because it was just for a game, so the intern came back with a bag of potatoes. They couldn't give it back to the store for a refund, so instead they decided to make it seem like they had the idea to give potatoes away.

Actually Sandy spoiled the outcome during Greta's turn when she said something like "I am trying to figure out if they would give us all potatoes" 😂😂

I've played "Potato or Guinea Pig", which is very difficult, but not potato or iPhone.

I thought it was about image quality. Modern blurry images from a smart phone are often said to be taken from a potato.

gotta be that guy: mocking android was low hanging and maybe made sense 5+ years ago but now the top androids outperform in every way and are half the price. so less lazy and more just anachronistic (out of its time)?

IIRC, for the original Mr. Potato Head you had to supply your own potato. But that's not supported on iPhone.
