    I always enjoy your episodes Jag! But my friend, here in the Okanagan Valley of BC we sure do get summers where 36 C is common. We've had heat waves of prolonged stretches over 40 C - that's hot. (Also lots of forest fires and smoke to contend with - like you guys!). But I appreciate the tip to REMOVE more than two sets of growth. I always learn something from you!

  • @DaisyCreekFarms

    @DaisyCreekFarms

    I explain in the video, more chits will create more plants and will create more potatoes but potatoes will be small, less chits produces less plants which creates one or two plants and potatoes will be very big

    Sure can you do this when you are expecting frost in few weeks? How about when it is 104F (40c)? What if the soil ph is 7.5, will it grow good potatoes? Plant the whole potato with 7 to 8 chits on it? Sure you can stick the potato in ground but won't you want to know how to optimize the production by growing with optimal conditions?

    @@DaisyCreekFarms Don't be pissy Bud. Anyone with half decent soil isn't dealing with 7.5 ph. Most people in the world don't know what frost is. 1-2 chits vs 7-8 chits makes exactly zero difference and you know it. Stick a potato in the ground and calm the fk down.

    @bradcarby3765 lol someone got mad real fast. How do you know what I know? 1-2 chits vs 7-8 chits makes a lot of difference. I did a whole experiment on this. I usually do not reply back to disrespectful comment like yours, however, I am looking past this to provide accurate info. Here is the video on the experiment: kzread.info/dash/bejne/oaqcmZSLpdaxeqw.html

    @@DaisyCreekFarms How do you know what I know? 8 plants is not statistically significant (and yes, I watched your recommended video). As a commercial grower of many different crops, I can honestly say you don't know what the fk you are talking about. Have fun ruining new gardeners joy though.

    Um Hi. I have a question….you actually buy chicken poo? Now you buy all these pellets of iron and this and that. Buy the time your done your going to pay so much more then it’s going to cost you to go to the store and buy a bag. You seem like a fancy potato man to me. I throw hay and straw in the barn so my birds can keep dry. Then rake it up and put it in a compost pile so I don’t have to go to the store and buy someone else’s chicken Sh# €§. I think you cost too much for me. But thanks for the video. I didn’t know that about the eyes thing!
