Needed this video badly. I been trying to sit up straight here lately. Putting more focus on it than I ever have. I was naturally starting to figure out about this setting myself up for success thing, just from trial and error. I needed this video to drive home the point and to show me that I really needed to exaggerate that first step more. Thank you for this!

If it's not a long trip, take the option of standing up. You'll be able to work on your posture as well as your balance. A good bend in the knees, weight even in the feet, keeps your center of gravity lower, which will allow you to respond to the jerky bus movement with acceptance. Give it a try! The seat is just a suggestion, you don't have to use it.

this might be because you are trying to keep your eye and head leveled to your computer screen or your notes. instead of compensating your back and neck to get to an objects level (bending down to see what you are doing or slouching over) get an object to your level. to do this possibly lift your computer upwards so you don't have to look down, and if you must look down at notes or other tasks, do it for 30 minutes at a time, give yourself time to practice the posture in this video and even get up, walk around and get something to eat for 10-30 minutes!

This is actually not the proper the way to sit Creating this s line is the not the right posture This s line imagery is created by muscle and fat on your bottom You dont deliberately create this by “pointing your tail bone “up towards the sky” The proper way to sit and easy way to think about it is to align your spine from your neck down to your tailbone in almost a straight line, perpendicular to the floor Now Im not saying your spine should be as straight as can be, but this imagery that people picture of bottom popping out waist going in and then your back is curved back is FAT and MUSCLE Dont believe me? just type “skeleton side view sitting” in google
