Anterior basal segments should be Supine with 18 inch bed elevation not on sidelying with 20 inch elevation. For lower lobes it's 18 inches elevation and for middle lobes 12 inches elevation according to text books recommended for NPTE.

very good explanation. I am very confused with this topic because differnt books talk about different approach for pulmonary drainage. The scorebuilders and therapyed are poles apart on this one. which one do you think is right?

Exactly! In some books you see the both the 30 degrees reclined and lean forward positions used for the apical segment of the upper lobes. But here I see the 30 degrees lean forward is for posterior segments of the upper lobe.

Like i know the rate of percussion is 2-3 percussions per second but how should it be structered in 20 mins time duration of gravity assisted position? Thanks sir.

I think you missed the posterior segments of the upper lobe? You only showed the posterior apical segments..
