As the ball is entered into the low post on this play, the defender initially finds himself in solid legal position. The then raises his arms to appear vertical and then uses his lower body to displace the offensive player forcing him several feet from the basket. The lead is wide on the play and allows play to continue until the offensive player is no longer to perform normal offensive movements and then a foul is ruled.
