my road has shortened, so to speak...I'm getting my top surgery June 26th and I can't fucking believe it! A friend is helping me that's how it's getting paid for.

Thank you for being so honest about the psychological aftermath caused by the removal of the reproductive organs. I was at NBR a few weeks after your surgery and I am currently thinking about the hysterectomy, as well. On the one hand, I just want to get rid of these female parts as I feel like I should not to be able to carry a child. In addition, I am afraid that I might pass this trans thing on to my children. On the other hand, I am still very young and my attitude towards reproduction might change within the next 20 years, whereas as a hysterectomy is an irreversible procedure.

Yeah, its really a matter of what you can bear. If your dysphoria is fucking you up everyday, messing with your life, Id say remove it. I really wish I done this many years ago. Still its that small hope, that science will step up and that there can be other ways to bring your genematerial forward. Myself, I didnt have time to wait for that to happen. Half my life had already been destroyed by female anatomy.

Thats ok:) I dont have a girlfriend at the time. Its pluss and minuses w that. I dont have to worry about anyone else, their feelings and thoughts. At the same time it would be comforting to have some support. Thanks for watching!
