I just want to point out the oddity of needing to build a very make-shift campsite in the open, when you can literally get into brick buildings that offer more space and protection from the elements. I do like the main character's quips at times, like somebody who's aggravated and self-aware.

49 minute opening box simulator. Looks good. Needs more actual engaging gameplay. Within the first hour of gameplay there should be more understanding of the overall game other than just overly cumbersome looting.

As an urban survivor I can't relate to a post-apoc games where you don't find fully loaded weapons and coolers full of perishables in every other car or room. This doesn't make sense! That stuff is everywhere. smh

This looks like it'll be a good addition to the collection when it's complete. Definitely gotta do something with that Geiger counter, scanning everything looks tedious and aggravating and maybe lessen the amount of locked crates feels too often, but yeah I get it, in real life things would be locked but make it the doors instead w/ lootable insides or just a pop up with the items that were "inside".

Character - not going another step further GameEdged - runs full force towards the scary noise!!!! Love you GE!

Seems like a cool game, but I think it would be more fun if you could just have the Geiger automatically equipped rather than having to turn off the light and spend a couple seconds scanning every can. I could see that becoming tedious after a little bit.

Wow, this one is tough! Definitely want to see more, though. Hope the devs make their directions and instructions a bit clearer though, that is frustrating.

This was great! I'd love to see more of this :) I like that it looks to really be challenging.

I like the aesthetics of the game, and the premise, but unless I see some pretty significant changes I probably won't pick it up myself. • The constant swapping to the geiger counter when you have a second hand is just falsely inflating play time and increasing player dissatisfaction. If the concern is working a piece of equipment with your less dominant hand, make the flashlight an offhand thing and toggle it on/off manually, or when doing something that takes both hands (like lockpicking). • I also have to glance askance at the amount of railroading evident in this content thus far. Need metal bars but can't pick up 95% of the metal bars you find. Hear a noise at the door and *the game* tells you that you don't want to go there, removing any player agency. Need paper to make a fire, but can't break down a cardboard box to light a fire. Constantly harassed by something stalking you, but game forces you to set up camp in an open area instead of, say, that garage with the busted car where you could shut the door when you go to sleep. • If the irradiated items in the boxes are not random, then most boxes are just there to make you use the annoying geiger swap mechanic. If they are random, you could die to bad RNG. I love survival games, and crafting games, but not if you lack agency. If I were in the shoes of our protag I would have found a good place to set up my campfire with multiple visibility-limiting obstructions, like a container angled against the wall of the facility. Then dragged a number of pallets near it and draped cloth and blankets over those to block visibility from the opening. Separately, I would use cloth strips, blankets, and a number of those metal bars laying around everywhere, to fashion some form of sleeping hammock that could be suspended well off the ground in case that thing stalking me was an animal or a weakened and irradiated person. Also, can't put fire materials at campfire location until you get all of them? I'd leave that cooking pot immediately, so when I found the second one I'd be carrying that around until I found another place to camp. I just have a few issues with being thrown into a game with hunger and thirst, battery life, unclear directions, and most importantly design that directly interferes with your ability to complete the few objectives you know. I wish them the best, but from the design choices I've seen so far, I don't think it'll be for me.

Just wanted to say you got very good points there, very well articulated, deserves more attention, comments and thumbs-ups. You'd think it would be apparent to seek shelter in a solid brick structure over a exposed open area, that way you can put tarp over the windows which can be peeled back, or use wood-slats, and wedge the door shut if possible with a make-shift 'lock' of some kind. There's also something... Idk, slightly off about the few different versions of storage boxes everywhere? Is if it a pre-made map was taken or stock assets placed together, then added in survival items? As for the spooky noises, having just the noise occur in the background would be more effective, rather than overplaying the scare-chords, let the character/player look around and feel quietly paranoid.

Please play more of this! I know GE will figure it out and I'm too curious as to what the next stage is! 💋💋💋

Cool concept and like the sound of this but the swapping to and from the flashlight, inventory system and what not look really cumbersome and need a lot of work.

The game looks decent, but I question the design choice of having the locks attached via two front facing screws. Wouldn't it make more sense and be much easier to just carry around one unbreakable Phillips head screwdriver instead of messing around with the breakable lockpicks?

This game looks promising very curious to see more of this in the future and to get it too when i got my salary.

"By Lot" means your guy was picked at random to be booted out of the shelter. Its 'supposedly' fair, but there's always a chance of those things being rigged. Exactly. It's short for lottery I believe. Used in stories, movies, shows. They used to have lotteries, not for winning money, but to see who would be the sacrifice to the gods for a better harvest by killing them or stoning them to draw blood, etc. Also selling off lots used in auctions & other sales like in wholesale shops, or using lots (like numbered pieces of paper) to choose things/people for different purposes. Drawing straws for a game or to choose who has to do something, often bad/unwanted jobs like who is the decoy for a scary movie, or the person who has to clean the toilets etc lol. Hunger games was definitely a lottery of that type, throwing your name in to be chosen as the representative for your district, meaning "victim" in this case except for the one person who wins!!

Game looks interesting, but my god, it just lacks so much QOL stuff that it looks awfully painful to play.. :(

This game looks great the Devs need a good pat on the back for this i cant wait to see full version gameplay

Protip: if your inventory is full, and your meter for that resource is down, consume that resource to fill your meter and make some space for what you found. E.g. you found a clean bottle of water when you could drink one you have and not even fill the meter all the way up. Same thing for the iodine pills.

Because I totally want to play a game where 80 percent of the stuff you can pick up can't be picked up.

So far this game looks pretty intense. I like how it's realistic and difficult just to find simple things to survive. Can't wait for the next episode!

Please, yes cool game, and ge is a great content maker but do not call it realistic with the magical radiation that contaminates food in a can, it could have been radiated but not contaminated, that food would even radiated be very safe to eat, or it could be that it was contaminated in the factory but why would that be distributed. Let's keep it at magical. This only makes people scared of radiation. And why does it take so long to read from a Geiger counter, but ok, I love ge for his content so also can't wait for more

I can understand why a group surviving in a bunker need to make hard choices, but damn. Couldn't give the guy a an energy bar to take with him?

I'm a bit concerned about all these apocalyptic games because I think they make people used in some way to the idea of surviving after a nuclear global war and gravely downplay the real effects a tragedy like that would have on the life on the planet in its entirety. the only way for life to survive is this not happening.

It would be safer outside the bunker than inside. The ones inside will start killing each other over the remaining resources.

Doesn't make sense you were turned out from the bunker with nothing but a flashlight.

Reads a note about a car written on paper the had to use a lockpick to open a box to get a piece of paper ☹️🙄

It seems like a promising game, but some of the aspects seem a little tedious in my opinion. I think I'll just watch you play this one.

I don't like the very limited supplies you can have. what is the difference between 3 matches and 4? And iodine tablets, real ones are the size of an aspirin so why limit to just 3?

That dialogue needs some work. Sounds off. "Is this a joke!? Is this a camping tent in the middle of the forest!?" Not many other kinds of tents, and the forest is a pretty common spot to camp. So no, not a joke.

Its funny how long it takes you to realize that the only safe water/food is in green cases

I think a waverake scenario is more necessary. Maybe pressing A + D (or W + S depending on the viewpoint of the lock )over and over until it opens -- Easy locks can be a set time of 5 seconds, medium can be 10 and hard can be a random set amount or require a different lockpick technique entirely

I´m sorry wuss, I do want to know what´s behind those doors. Hearing GE laugh like this makes it even more fun. There was one fabric you couldn´t pick up because of full inventory.

I could not stand playing just the beginning of the game in the dark. Usually the beginning is usually a little easier. I don’t think the devs thought that through very well.

The Geiger counter mechanic is annoying, the inventory system is hilariously bad, and the absurd rarity of items that makes the term “makeshift” laughably ironic. This game looks really bad :(

Seems like an awesome game with an inevitable jump scare scenario in the near future.

I'm going to start the next episode probably later today... but as of the end of this episode I would not want to play this game. If they give you absolutely no good food except chips & food you have to cook but you have a super hard time getting all the resources needed to make the food... well I like to play games that you need to work for it, but not grind at the beginning with no chance to succeed because of either RNG or they just don't give you what you need to start. You definitely should have longer battery life or at least 1-2 batteries in that area that aren't super difficult to get if you are going to be started off at night & it seems to last a long time. You have to have a chance so that you can continue to search for what you need to even make your camp. The other thing that would drive me nuts fairly quickly would be how the Geiger counter is bound to you (especially if you can't change your keybindings) and how it takes forever for it to do it's scan after you have already determined the food or drink is bad. Just have a short scan & if it's bad, end it, not keep scanning lol. And if canned goods & bottled water go bad, why on Earth would chips be safe because they are flour (I think it said flour products or wheat products were safe so always no scanning needed.)

I'm sorry. I know it's low hanging fruit, but I also am glad the devs let u have an early copy to try OOT!
