The intro is magic

I dont mind the zipper because it doesnt make the boot any worse. The football boot itself is pretty good. The upper is softer than most boots on the market. I tried them on in a soccer store and the lockdown is great so i guess the zipper works. I dont even care about the looks of a football boot(under armour will probably make better colourways) the soleplate is very comfortable and agressive

Devan Barragan theres not necessarily a "good" cleat for goalies and I should know because I'm a goalie if you want to wear a superfly go ahead if you want a tiempo go ahead just depends your taste and comfort

Don't really think that'd happen since he's not really a goalkeeper and gloves are really down to preference unless you're asking about good value. For cleats it's also down to preference, I myself alternate off of tiempos and vapors and neither feels like something I wouldn't wear in game

The intro was absolutely perfect.

I remember when josh first stared his channel he was very monotone and more of a serious vibe towards each vid nice to he jokes around with the intro and the funny caption he inserts sometimes 👌🏻👌🏻

Juggling is always great for practicing your touch and general control. You don't need a ton of space for that. Getting a gym membership wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Unrelated to the video, but if you have knowledge about the junior Nike shoes, would you say the jr vapor 10's are better than the jr vapor 11's? Asking because the 10's have a 1 piece upper and the 11's don't.

Hey Josh, I stumbled upon a pair of deadstock mint condition Mercurial Vapor VI in the Black/Circuit Orange colorway and was thinking of getting them so I looked for your review on the model but you never did one... so would you recommend I get them? they're very cheap at around the $50 pricepoint and coe with the original box and stringbag, ...also I plan on playing in them so that's why I'm asking...

They're solid boots. Very different in comparison to the latest Vapor, but still good. I don't think I was doing reviews when that was a current model.

I want to order a pair of the 17+ purespeed, the thing is my local store only had a pair of the ace 17.1 in a size 7.5. The fit in length had slightly less than a inch of space left over but the width fit snug. Should order a size 7 purespeed or 7.5?

Sizing would be the same.

I think that if you cut away the zip (something like zlatan did with his purechaos) they could be a great boots, i like the soleplate and the upper looks good, i'd like to buy them but they costs too much..

Should've used a high quality velcro (if that's even a thing)

Greyson McGeary there is some good velcro out there but it would probably wouldn't be good with time because of mud, grass and other things getting stuck in the velcro

Hard to say, because I've never worn them on artificial grass for any extended period of time.

I love the way it looks(I like the color green) and I was not told to say that, I swear.

They wouldn't be my first choice, but as long as you like them, that's what counts.

Since this is a soccer channel most of y'all won't know what I'm talking about but one of my favorite basketball shoes of all time is Gary Payton's Nike Zoom the Glove. The shoes have a zippered shroud on them and are pretty cool 90s basketball shoes. These UA cleats remind me a lot of the gloves but the zipper isn't really a great look on a soccer cleat

17+ and 17.1 do, yes. The Messi variations have Agilityknit 1.0 instead.

Have you used the UA 595 ball? It feels great, but I'm concerned about the durability because it looses air rather quickly

Thats a boot I would probably wear for myself but never for a game, because everybody would laugh at them. I hope UA releases a traditionally laced spotlight 2 with the nice upper sometime in the future.

I'm still amazed that so many companies can't get the simplest elements of their products right. Basic physics would inform us that boot laces work so very well in terms of fit, security, and durability of the boots... but hey, zippers, dude! Are you reminded of that "There's Something About Mary" moment when you wear them, Josh? The colourway is horrible, as is copying current adidas. However, UA Clutchfit is great, and Mizuno is still innovative and bucking the trend with their products.

does the first takedown model have pretty much the same upper material, but with a normal lacing system??

I haven't personally tried them, so I couldn't really say.

Those remind me of the kind of shoes you attach to skis, as a lot of them have laces and a lace cover with a zipper.

Just like any other boot, that would all depend on what type of fit and feel that you're looking for. Your specific budget would also be a factor.

They need to make a blue denim jeans colourway of these boots lol! The green upper texturing pattern reminds me of the one on the old Adidas Ace 15.4 which was super soft (I scored 4 goals on my first wearing of those takedown X's) for a takedown. In my opinion aesthetically they should have made 2 shades of green here. Would not buy these esp given the weight

Soccer Reviews For You Thanks Josh! I do like the Under Armour Clutchfit Force 3.0. That's the only cleats I like from Under Armour. They need to have more than just the Clutchfit Force. The Spotlight is disappointing to say the least.

If the black wasn't there and it was a full aqua/teal colour I would consider buying it. I'm not the biggest fan of block colours on boots

I had Nike zip up turf shoes years and years ago and zip aspect was a better design than UAs. They were okay but not great.

I'm expecting these shoes to be at a Marshall/Ross in a few weeks lol
