Mo you are a Gent! Thanks for the shout at the end buddy, and answering the questions, really appreciate it! That is one awesome pouch (H1) and a superb kit you put together there, I am amazed at how much you can get in it! That little folding saw is amazing too, never seen anything like that before! also impressed with that tin too, great with a screw on lid! You left me thinking and re-evaluating again, which is great, thanks for the inspiration. PM on its way soon on your suggestion!

This is a really great kit. Thank you so much for all the suggestions! Also, I got a laugh imagining that you were actually Billy Connolly dishing out this information. Cheers.

Great video brother! Very elaborate kit. I tend to lean more towards just a backpack and not so much a waistpack. But I completely understand that there is a difference. One is a more EDC type kit, and the other is a full kit. The benefits of a backpack is the ability to carry a full kit with less disposable items. Can't wait for what you will offer in 2012!

Another great vid! It's odd that I've been buying a bucket load of Max gear from Amazon and not once did they promote this pack to me. Thank you for your vid mate. Peace from Berkshire.

Wow, it's amazing how much kit you have crammed into that pouch! Great video. You've got a lot of well chosen gear. Have you used the WetFire stuff much? I've found that if you get any pinhole leaks in the wrapper the stuff is completely worthless. I prefer hexamine (eg Esbit) or a wax/PJ/Gel-Wax soaked cotton ball. It's a shame you folks in Europe labor under such restrictive knife regulations. I can't imagine hitting the woods without a good fixed blade. Keep the great vids coming!

Great video from one of my favorite channels. I really like your no bs style and excellent practical reviews. I'm an enthusiastic and well prepared day hiker who would like to try some bushcraft. The H1 pouch is a great bit of kit but is there a cheaper/clone version anyone could suggest. I'd use the pouch for the same use and have a clone 10x4 and sabercat. I really like not using a backpack for the odd bit of scrambling. So a belt mounted system works for me.

I like the reference to a TARDIS. Good kit but too much redundancy. Four flashlights, 2 compass', 4 fire starters, a sharping stone and 2 feracium rods, 2 mirrors?

Thank you for the detailed review! The pack looks great, you fit in a LOT! Do you know if a GSI OUTDOORS glacier stainless bottle cup (designed to slip just over a Nalgene 1l bottle) fits in the main compartment? This would be awesome (and could replace your container if you wanted to)... Thanks!

Why not just carry a latex glove instead? All the same uses, holds more water, fits better when used as a glove. And if you're worried about sterility, you can buy sterile packaged gloves too. And you can still use it on a woman too. A very adventurous woman.
