I LOVE that in Helmut's mind, Bob is the age he was when they lost each other, but in Bob's, he sees himself as his physical age! It's such a cool touch to show their differing perceptions like that :)

I love how the animatic becomes colorful from colourless once Helmut returns to his body. A lot of effort was put into this animatic and it looks amazing!

This is literally absolutely breathtaking. The sweet intimacy of visiting in each others minds just so they can be physically together while they search for helmuts body is so tender and important to me. Incredible work

I was wondering what the blur with vision and the orange figure was after the table scene but I realized that’s supposed to be Lucretia as Helmut’s 6th sense (a term for psychic abilities in media) Granted I’m pretty sure in the analogy Helmut is supposed to be the 6th sense but It’s awesome to see that… hmm maybe Lucretia in helmut’s mind band is a sense of balance which he got back after getting back in his body.

This is so beautiful. I have watched it so many times and paused every shot each time to soak in all the details, especially of the gang’s trip to the frozen lake. I love Bob and Helmut hanging out with the Senses, I love that cute shot of Lucy and Bob whispering, I love when Otto comes in and hugs Helmut, I love the utter adoration drawn on Bob’s and Helmut’s faces. This whole thing just makes me tear up. I got a friend to start Psychonauts 2 and I am just waiting for her to be done so I can show her this video, for real. What If I Forget Your Face- could be when Helmut spent a few months if not a few years trapped in his own brain. Who Is She (Reprise)- could be when Helmut started to forget everything and became the Ball Of Light & dove into the memory volt. And Finally... It is! I talked about it on my tumblr (here: scribblemakes.tumblr.com/post/669778091686625281/is-the-yellow-person-in-that-frame-lucy-what ) but in summary: She's his sense of temperature because of freezing him in ice as Maligula and also potentially making him quilts after they reunite in-game.
