Watching this makes you realise what an underrated guitar duo Larry LaLonde and Mike Torrao were. If they'd kept going instead of splitting back in 87, Possessed would have been right up there. Delighted to see this lineup up and running and Jeff Becerra keeping the flame burning.

Glad to see they finally got Jeff Becerra a wireless mic.

Jeff's voice is almost like 35 years ago.

I actually fuckin love how Possessed has modernized their sound little without losing their essence, loving the heavy drum work, the bass drums fuckin fantastic and different guitar tuning more up to today's Death Metal standard is awesome, and Jeffs vocals of course always so fuckin amazing.

Not only the best comeback album but best comeback concert as well. 🤘

I fucking love this band, thank god Jeff came back I wish he never got paralyzed 😔 god bless you Jeff

I remember Emilio on drums I use to see him practice all the time. He would practice at my neighbor's. NF. First seen Possessed back in 1986 w D.R.I. and Exodus, @ the Balboa!!!!

Amazing show. Glad I've seen Possessed a couple of times, this line up is ferocious!! Emilio is a machine, very very underated!

Awesome show! I saw Possessed play at least 10 times in the Bay Area during the mid to late 80's. The Bay Area was an amazing hardcore thrash metal/ punk scene at that time. It is pretty cool the band still sounds the same.

@@Fidelio116 Yes is was back in 90s in California. We all call him Scooby. Hes a super nice guy. Hope that don't hurt his metal reputation. He invited me to his house a couple months ago and played for me and showed me all his guitars. Check out his other band called Powershift too.

@@joehatch1602 that’s so cool man. I’ve always liked Claudeous’ style. He plays so well! Tasteful and classy solos, and precise riffs. I have to check his other band out for sure. Does he work with anything else besides music? Do you know how long he has been playing for? I’m a guitarist as well (beginner) and I’m very inspired and intrigued by his style and his technique. Both guitarists here are really good and technical actually! Claudeous has got great stage presence as well.

@@Fidelio116 I think he told me he does construction and maintenance type jobs also. Hes been playing since was a teen in the 90s. Hes a real good guitar player, I wish I was even half as good as him at guitar. His other band is little different not really death metal or thrash its more like Queensryche a little bit progressive. I would really like to see him play a show. I've only seen him play at home and on you tube. Hes such a nice guy, wish I still lived in California I would go hangout with him some more. If he goes on tour out my way in Oklahoma I will be sure to go see him.

Possessed's Seven Churches is THE DM album ever imho, I was deeply into them, Celtic Frost (To Mega Therion), Slayer (still all of them up to Seasons, some of the newer stuff also), Sepultura (Beneath the Remains, Arise), Sodom (Persecution Mania, Agent Orange, Mortal Way of Life) and Death (Leprosy). Later then Entombed crushed my earphones with Left Hand Path, Clandesine and also Wolverine Blues. Good to see the boys back. Listen millenials: If you dont know these bands and albums (and many more one could find for this list), use the search engine and video platform of your choice to get into them.

With the exception of the drummer, I LOVE HOW THIS LINE-UP OF POSSESSED HAS MAINTAINED THE "OLD SCHOOL" METAL/ROCKER LOOK (i.e. long hair, spiked armbands, and t-shirts supporting other underground metal bands)!

I remember watching this band early 80s in SF AT THE STONE , Mabuhay Gardens, On Broadway and Ruthies Inn in Berkeley. those were the days
