In the fourth game, grory intentionally did not play Trampling Rhino, which is a great play! The final game was also great, as the winner was unknown until the end.

Wow this was fun to watch ^_^ Watching this tournament also actually helped me get through the Guff section of the book of mercenaries the other day, since the later fights include the celestial alignment/survival of the fittest cards, and since I don’t play a lot of Druid in hearthstone, the videos helped me know what kind of strategy I should go for with them 😅

What an incredible series. Sad for Glory for the missed back to back championship opportunity but I'm sure he's happy for Posesi. Absolutely deserved w, Posesi has been an inspiration throughout the year.

These commentators are really impressive.

its just one otk deck, also notice how that otk deck lost against more 'control' oriented deck like the driud. I think that they problem is that one otk deck ended up being super strong

No Idea what your taking about like combos and stuff but I like the game

Solar eclipse into nature studies was the obvious play. I've done that many times playing token spell druid game to get my glow flies down ealier, a giberling board or to get nourish earlier.

I don't think the casters realized the 1st game was a 50/50 lethal.

Hate OTK decks but this final was well played by both players and pretty much just coming down to RNG

@@Durrrrfeeqri OTK = One Turn Kill. RNG = Random (Means one or another could have won if he drawn a better cards.

too much OTK for me , there is almost no interaction on the table ... both players are drawing cards and hoping to OTK the other player first... thats the reason why hearthstone has less player every year.... however, grats to posesi and glory !!

because his kurtrus did not discount and well demon slayer can't react that easily to two 8 manas in the battleground. plus 47 health + armor and another cenarion ward next turn for glory already meant trouble

The set is like 5min. old, would you play new cards in a WC final? How much money is in there? 100k? 300k?

well, every tcg game has rng. Hearthstone is in a good state in terms of rng right now i guess.

oof official world championship gets less than 100k views. Sadge thats worse than the mid tier hearthstone youtubers. I guess nobody cares? Idk these events get me excited becasue of the stakes. If nobody cares its kinda cringy when everyones energetic as if its hype or smth idk

The lady commentator is so annoying she literally doesn’t stop talking and rambling

Please, Jia Dee, speak less. Saying the most amount of words possible in a minute doesn't make you a better commentator. You don't need to cover every remote possibility in every draw. Spectators can't concentrate on the game because of your non stop machine fire talk. The value of what you're saying is diminished as well. I don't want to mute every game you commentate.

ALL the casters talk during play -- that's their job! Yet you chose to single out Jia... I wonder what's different about this caster, hmmm? Jia is up there with Sottle for the depth of her analytical skills. Personally, I think she does an amazing job, and I'm glad she's become a regular for top tier Hearthstone tournaments.

Jia is the most insightful HS caster we have. I don't mean this as a slight because I like the talent in general, but she is top tier.

@@coriolis_storm Jia did an amazing job, so much energy, and so many insightful comments. It's funny how she got singled out while some other plain-tone commentators didn't. The only thing I can think of is race or gender being the factor here.
