Can't surf in the cold. I would have all my joints locked up and a huge headache! It cuts all the fun. When you fall feels like on the concrete. Cold concrete!!!

You need a thicker wetsuit. You're missing out because winter swells are typically the best and most consistent

@@nichobee Oh no... the water is warm year around here... In Portugal must be freezing. That's what I meant... I wouldn't enjoy freezing water. It really isn't a pleasure to me. But everyone is different.

I used to have cluster headache which is like a migraine and the winter water used to give me headaches as well man I feel you

@@razravid123 Me too, I would have headaches and also pain in my joints!! It's just not fun at all! I like to surf at least 2 to 3 hours at a time! You just can't stay in that liquid torture for 20 minutes in your normal stage of life. LOL! I don't know how people can even get in the cold water with heavy wet suits. It's another world! Man.. if you fall it feels like concrete!!! The balls get inside and only come out when you enjoy your hot shower. You think about hot chocolate all the time!! LOL! It's another sport all together. I would hate to be a professional surfer and to be forced to get in cold water. Feel very sorry for those people living in those places. Anyways..

Big difference, Pipeline = Board shorts. Portugal = wetsuit. Both intense waves though.
