Portugal Medieval Days in Castro Marim, celebrate as a historical castle town goes back in time. #2

Castro Marim shines as they celebrate the Medieval Days with parades, costumes, food, and shows. History comes alive in this real castle town where the Knights Templars hid out from the King of France and the Pope in 1307...only to rebrand themselves as the "Order of Christ" years later. So much history here and it's amazing to watch it all when the town shuts down for this 5-day event.
Enjoy a new video about Castro Marim (which is one of the best-kept secrets of the Eastern Algarve). This medieval town boasts a castle where the Knights Templars hid out while the powers that be wanted them gone (or wanted their money). The Portuguese King protected them by sending them on a vacation to the Algarve where they eventually “disbanded” only to re-emerge as the newly branded “Order of Christ”. • NO "DAMP" house in Por...
This series has three parts, part one covers old homes restored from the outside but brand new inside. With total new construction, the developer explains how he "beats the damp” which is a concern for people moving to Portugal who has heard about dampness and mold.
Part two is this video, some fun, and history.
Part three will be a more in-depth tour of the town.
Take a sneak peek into these homes which are already sold (except for the last one), it has offers on it but the developer agreed to keep it open to my agent until Wednesday, November 9th.

Hello my friend and superfan!!! How are things over there? I didn't go to the banquet but Sheri and Janet (from San Diego) did. I'm not into eating partridge and apparently it was squishy so I'm on the fence for next year. I do like the idea of the private performance but maybe we can all go together as the court!
