Quick 24 hr trip to Porto, wasn't long enough to see all the tourist spots but I saw most of this beautiful Portuguese City. I noticed there are alot of hills in Porto so comfortable shoes are a must.
The Bridge is built over the river Douro taking you to wineland with soooo many wine cellars that offer tasting tours. Some are Calems, Taylors, Offleys, Crofts and Sandeman.
The Sao Bento Train Station was so beautiful being covered in the famous blue tiles as many churches and buildings are in Porto.
Tasting the Francesinha at Bufete Fase was definitely an experience and not for the faint hearted as its a proper meat feast and calorific.
I will have to book myself another trip to visit the inside of the Harry Potter inspired Livraria Lello library as i just could not risk missing my flight to my next destination LISBON. See you there in the next one.

Good morning. Porto specialty dish is "tripas á moda do Porto" francesinha is a recent very recent thing. I myself if eat one once a year is already to much.
The azulejo blue panel on the right of the train station is a celebration of the Treaty of Windsor The Treaty of Windsor is the diplomatic alliance signed between Portugal and England on 9 May 1386 at Windsor and sealed by the marriage of João I of Portugal (House of Aviz) to Philippa of Lancaster princess of England, daughter of John of Gaunt, 1st Duke of Lancaster. The treaty is the oldest military treaty in the world still in force today and the terms have never been broken by neither country. ps: their son was Henrique o navegador (Henry the navigator) and he was the man that started the age of discovery.
