I have a 71 sho bud professional exactly like the one at 5.23 mark, except it's been converted to an sd10 3×4. Same color and everything. Those two tone sho buds were gorgeous.

Sooooo much E9. It would have been great for one of the players to bust out a big chord solo on the C6 neck. Too bad so many players use it for an arm rest instead of learning how to actually play it. I've worked with two really good E9 players who never, ever so much as touched the C6 neck all night long. One never even bothered to even tune it. We played a lot of Country swing too, so there was ample opportunity to use the C6 neck.

Well, this is a country shuffle after all. That aside, it’s clear that these guys are at various levels of ability and it’s likely that they’re still working out the C6 neck. You’ve “worked with” steel players...ever try it? If not maybe keep the digs to yourself pal.
