Portland police union president fears Multnomah County drug deflection plan lacks 'carrot or stick'
Sgt. Aaron Schmautz said Multnomah County's deflection program is shaping up to be a custodial version of Measure 110, one where police are involved despite the fact that there's no accountability baked into the system.

Well, if the spirit of HB 4002 won't be followed by Oregon's arguably most important city and the city most negatively impacted by the consequences of Measure 110's failure, then voters will just have to vote to tear up 110 in its entirety, and HB 4002 will be a moot point. Oregon voters are sick of this BS, so JVP and her minions had better get with the program, or they may experience some deflection back into the private sector.

You all put the cart before the horse. There was such an absolute waste of time and money to do the research you did going to different countries and places. The state did not implement this program well at all. It is absolutely upsetting that the state FAILED!! This could have been done so much better and Oregon could have led the nation!! If we all have a role to play…. Then everyone should come to the table with an OPEN MIND!!
